Making bottle blossoms at Annmarie Garden

If you go

Help Dale Wayne create blossom trees at Annmarie Sculpture Garden. Every day from 1 to 4 p.m. through August 13, Wayne holds workshops. She provides the materials and instructions, and she welcomes volunteers of all ages.

While you’re there, take the short walk through the garden to hunt for the fairy and gnome houses hidden among the trees.

What: Bottle tree project at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center

Where: 13480 Dowell Road, Dowell, Maryland (in the Solomons area, about 90 minutes from downtown Washington).

How much: Admission to the garden is free for kids 4 and younger; ages 5-11, $2; age 12 and up, $3. Working on the bottle project is included in the price of admission.
