Kids are Peeple, too. Yes, we meant Peeple, those who make fantastic dioramas featuring marshmallow treats. If you want us to consider your creation for The Post’s 2014 Peeps Diorama Contest, you need to hurry. Entries are due Monday by 11:59 p.m., and at that hour you should be asleep!
Before you enter, have a parent check out the complete rules at washingtonpost.com/peeps.
Here are a few guidelines:
●Pick a theme. Need inspiration? Check out last year’s kids’ entries at kidspost.com.
●Make the main characters out of Peeps.
●Create a diorama using a shoebox or similar-size item.
●Give your diorama a title.
●Take photos of your diorama.
●Have an adult (a parent, teacher or guardian) send your name, age and home town and the names and ages of anyone who helped. The adult’s phone number and e-mail address also must be included.
On Sunday, April 20, photos of the contest finalists and winner will be published in The Washington Post Magazine, and KidsPost will publish some of the best kids’ dioramas, one of which will win a KidsPost prize package.
