Summer is almost here. The weather is warmer, the days are longer and soon school will be out and it will be time for VACATION!
We here at KidsPost have one question: Can we come with you?
For the 12th straight year we’re asking readers to participate in “The Summer of KidsPost.” Here’s all you have to do:
1 Go on vacation: It can be someplace as exotic as China or as simple as the neighborhood pool.
2 Take a copy of KidsPost with you. It can be from any day of the week.
3 Get someone to take a picture of you (and siblings, cousins, grandparents) holding KidsPost.
4 Have one of your parents send it to us at kidspost@
washpost.com. (Put Summer of KidsPost in the subject field) or KidsPost, The Washington Post, 1150 15th St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20071. If you send it via e-mail, put “Summer of KidsPost” in the subject line.
5 Be sure to include the full names, ages and home towns of everyone in the photo. Also write a sentence or two about what made your vacation special. We will publish pictures in the newspaper and at kidspost.com throughout the summer.
6 Last, but certainly not least, have fun and keep reading KidsPost!
