The ashes of Lt. Col. David Cabrera, killed last year in Afghanistan, are interred at Arlington National Cemetery. At center, Cabrera’s wife, August, and their sons, Max and Roanin. Cabrera made a point of being there for the troops by being there with the troops. Cabrera was shuttling between bases in Afghanistan when a van packed with explosives and driven by a suicide bomber swerved into his vehicle.
