Cheri Hennessy, owner of the Christmas Attic on South Union Street. Glitter is ubiquitous at the store, which her family opened in 1971 as a design and picture framing business. It evolved into a year-round Christmas shop — where time is measured in Christmases, not years. “As in, I have been here 39 Christmases,” says Hennessy, who started working there as a pre-teen.
