A group of artists held their own inaugural ball Sunday.

Bronwen Valentine, a member of Dance Afire, a theatrical fire dance performance company, performs at the 2013 Artist’s Inaugural Ball. The ball also featured live music, DJs, dancing, a hookah lounge and more. It was spread among six areas in the Rock and Roll Hotel and Gallery O on H. A portion of the proceeds went to local charities Miriam's Kitchen and One Common Unity. The hosts were Mischief, Rogue Wave Project, Artomatic and Meso Creso.
