As such protestors have used Facebook to post reports of rallies, and Skype to avoid tapped cellphone lines, their autocratic governments have in turn been boosting online censorship and spying. Telecomix has thus tried to provide the activists with tech support. He used to work in IT for the Pentagon but quit and lives and works from his parents basement on December 3, 2011.
