Catching up with the characters of ‘Mad Men’

Since season 4 of “Mad Men” ended in 2010, here’s a reminder about the state of the employees of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce and residents of the Francis family. “Mad Men” returns to AMC on Sunday.

Former office manager Joan Harris (Christina Hendricks) was promoted to director of agency operations. Pregnant with Roger Sterling’s child, she intends to raise it with her husband, Greg, who believes he is the father. Greg, an Army surgeon, is due to be sent to Vietnam.

Peggy Olson (Elisabeth Moss) is a copywriter and protege of Don Draper. Peggy had landed Topaz pantyhose as a client and is dating a writer named Abe.

Pete Campbell (Vincent Kartheiser) is head of accounts at the agency. His wife, Trudy, gave birth to their first child near the end of season 4.
