Joseph Altuzarra was named this year’s winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in front of a crowd of fashion industry insiders at Skylight Soho on Monday night.

Designer Joseph Altuzarra attends the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. Altuzarra was awarded the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund prize at the eighth annual awards Monday night. The young designer will receive $300,000 in cash prizes, which are intended by the fund to encourage and enable the pursuit of career plans in the fashion industry.
