How a baby panda grows
9 days: This photo shows the baby panda born in July 2005 when he was about 9 days old. Panda cubs are born weighing about a quarter of a pound. They are blind, have none of the black and white hair they are famous for and can fit in an adult's hand. This cub would later be named Tai Shan.
