On Love: ‘We’re patient with each other, which I think is a good thing’

Marina Meyerson is lifted during her wedding reception on Nov. 26. Her husband, Sam Hoffberger, proposed at the Prime Rib, which had been the favorite restaurant of his father and grandfather. They sat at a table for two. At her place setting, Hoffberger laid a notebook in which he’d written a series of love letters over the course of their relationship. In the last entry, he asked her to marry him.
