An era officially comes to an end with the closing of Chevy Chase Bridal. The business begun 35 years ago by Washington retail legend Harriet Kassman will close in early October. Until then, discounts on bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, veils and other accessories will start at 30 to 50 percent off and increase until the doors are shuttered.
