PDN’s 30 is an annual list by the photography magazine of up-and-coming photographers who have been working professionals for less than five years. Each member of this year’s class has taken a unique route to choosing photography as a career path.
Zun Lee Attending photographer David Alan Harvey’s workshop led Zun Lee to leave his career as a physician and concentrate on personal photo projects. After he found out his biological father is African American, Lee produced a project on African American fathers, intending to counter the stereotypes associated with them.
