Washington Post art critic Philip Kennicott calls curator Judith Brodie’s “Shock of the News” a documentation of a stormy, obsessive, often dysfunctional and prodigiously productive relationship between art and newspapers over the past century. The exhibit will be at the National Gallery of Art from Sept. 23-Jan. 27.
