The Scene: D.C. Scoop keeps things cool and sweet

Ice cream took center stage Saturday at Union Market in Northeast during the first D.C. Scoop. The community event featured free frozen treats, a juried tasting competition, an ice cream eating contest, children’s activities, music and other entertainment.
