Couples tie the knot at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County on Valentine’s Day.

Marquart Doty and Hal Taft, were the first to be married at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County in Annapolis on Valentine’s Day. The couple became friends after meeting in Berkeley, Calif., in 1971. Doty and Taft married others, but after the deaths of their spouses, they reconnected.
