Odessa is about 100 miles from Washington. Take Route 50 over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. At Queenstown, Md., follow U.S 301 toward Wilmington. At Middletown, Del., merge onto Delaware Route 299 east (West Main Street) and follow it into Odessa.

Historic Odessa Foundation
Open March through December, Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. Open Monday by reservation.
Adults $10, seniors $8 and children younger than 6 free. Tour takes about two hours and includes the Corbit-Sharp, Wilson-Warner and Collins-Sharp houses.
The Friends Meeting House is open to the public on the first and third Sundays of the month from 10:45 a.m. to noon. To visit at other times, call ahead.
