Getting There

Wintergreen Resort is about 160 miles from Washington. Take Interstate 66 west to U.S. Route 29 south. About 25 miles south of Charlottesville, turn right onto Va. Route 6/River Road. Turn left onto VA-151/Rockfish Valley Highway. Turn right onto Va. Route 664/Beech Grove Road. Turn right onto Wintergreen Drive.

What to Do

Wintergreen Resort

High-season eight-hour weekend lift tickets are $72; eight-hour ski rental rates are $37. Mountain hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays and Tuesdays through Thursdays; and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Other winter activities include ice skating and tubing.
