Land

Book four nights at any IHG property in the Caribbean or Latin America and receive a free night. Star Clippers is offering discounts of up to 60 percent on 13 European Grand Voyages in 2013. Prices vary. For example, a 14-night cruise from Hamburg, Germany, to Lisbon aboard the 170-passenger Star Flyer, departing Aug. 24, now starts at $2,524 per person double (plus $465 port charges), a savings of $2,624. AirTran has launched a sale for travel Jan. 7 through May 15. For example, the round-trip fare from BWI Marshall to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., starts at $114, including taxes; other airlines are matching, but the fare typically starts at $180. From Reagan National, the round-trip fare to Orlando starts at $140, including taxes; usual fare is $208. Blackout dates vary by destination. Trafalgar Tours is offering discounts of $600 per couple on winter tours to Europe. For example, the seven-night Simply Italy tour departing Feb. 23 is $2,552 per person double after the discount.
