-Bring a nonperishable food item when checking in at a Red Roof Inn and receive a 15 percent discount on the room. Stay through Dec. 26. Prices vary by property and date. For example, save $12 at the Red Roof Fort Lauderdale; price after discount is $68, plus 11 percent tax. All items will be donated to a local food pantry. -The hotels and casinos of Atlantic City are offering a slew of deals this winter, with discounts on accommodations, dining and attractions. Participating properties include Bally’s, Caesars, Sheraton, Showboat, Tropicana and more. Some, such as Seaview and the Tuscany House at Renault Winery, are outside the city. Sample package: Harrah’s Red Door Spa Escape, which features rates from $125, plus 14 percent tax and $5 occupancy fee, and a $100 credit at the Red Door Spa. Valid Sunday-Thursday, through March 31. -Azamara Club Cruises is offering a last-minute discount on its Caribbean and Brazil Hideaways Voyage aboard the Azamara Journey departing Barbados on Dec. 4. The 14-night cruise starts at $2,849 per person double, plus $220 port charges, a savings of $150. Deal also includes free airfare from BWI Marshall to Barbados, with return from Rio de Janeiro (taxes of about $91 are extra); upgrade to a veranda cabin, based on availability (value $1,000 per person); and a $200 per-cabin shipboard credit.
