Land

Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort, on an inlet along Mexico’s Gulf of California Cortes, has a fifth-night-free offer, plus a $50 daily resort credit, free-night certificate for a future stay, and 10 percent spa and restaurant discounts. With the 10th Anniversary Package, rates start at $239 double per night. A five-night stay for two people in late May comes to $1,198, including fees and taxes, down from $1,482. The Hyatt Regency New Orleans is offering savings to World War II history buffs. The National WWII Museum deal starts at $189 a night double and includes a standard room, two tickets to the National WWII Museum (value $19 each), two museum theater tickets to “Beyond All Boundaries” ($11), $25 certificate at chef John Besh’s American Sector restaurant, and breakfast buffet at 8 Block Kitchen & Bar in the hotel ($19). Avalon Waterways is waiving the single supplement fee on select 2012 river cruises. Air

Southwest Airlines has a sale on flights from BWI Marshall to several dozen U.S. cities. Sample round-trip fares, including taxes: to Boston, $130; Fort Lauderdale, Fla., $194; New Orleans, $268. US Airways has discounted fares from BWI Marshall to Madrid and Paris’s Charles de Gaulle. Round-trip fare to Madrid or Paris starts at about $750, with taxes.
