Kid events during Yoga Week and beyond

Kids’ Yoga at Yoga on the Mall. Parents are encouraged to bring their broods to the free outdoor practice on Sunday. First up on the schedule at 1:30 p.m. is Kids’ Yoga.

Budding Yogis is offering several of its children’s classes for $5, including Baby & Me (6 weeks to crawling), Family Yoga (ages 5 to 10 with parent) and Teen Yoga. 3838 Northampton St. NW. 202-686-1104. www.buddingyogis.com.

Studios across the area cater to young yogis, Here are a few:

Lil Omm. In addition to kid-centric classes for all ages, the studio has adult classes where children are welcome to play. 4830 V St. NW. 202-248-6304.

Simon Says Yoga. In May, this new studio is offering two-for-one classes for moms who bring their kids (age 12 and older). 4701 Sangamore Rd., Bethesda. 240-505-5448.
