14-year-old boy shot in Northeast D.C.

A 14-year-old boy was shot twice in the back in Northeast Washington early Friday, authorities said.

The youth was shot about 12:20 a.m. in the 700 block of Langston Terrace NE, and the assailant fled in an unknown direction, according to Officer Araz Alali, a D.C. police spokesman.
