BROOKLYN PARK AREA
ROBBERIES

Southerly Rd., 200 block, 6:34 p.m. Dec. 19. Two males forced their way into a residence at gunpoint. A man inside the home was shot in the upper body during a struggle, after which the intruders fled empty-handed. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. An investigation was ongoing.

GLEN BURNIE AREA
WEAPONS OFFENSES

Queen Anne Rd., 100 block, 10 p.m. Dec. 13. During an illegal drug possession investigation, four guns were confiscated from a residence. Two Glen Burnie men, ages 32 and 39, a 45-year-old Glen Burnie woman, and a 26-year-old Pasadena man were arrested. Charges included firearms violations, theft, possession of cocaine and heroin, and intent to illegally distribute narcotics.

ROBBERIES

Crain Hwy., 8000 block, 6:42 p.m. Dec. 16. Three males wearing ski masks threatened and robbed a male teenager.

Lincoln Ct., 6400 block, 7:30 p.m. Dec. 14. A group of five males tried to rob a pizza delivery driver as he was getting out of his vehicle. The driver fought back, and the assailants fled empty-handed. A short time later, three males, ages 13, 14 and 14, were arrested. Charges included robbery, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Ritchie Hwy., 7200 block, 12:27 a.m. Dec. 20. A man who said that he had a gun approached a motorist pumping gas and demanded cash. The woman handed him cash then sprayed him in the face with pepper spray. While arresting a Glen Burnie man, 52, at the scene a short time later, police learned that he earlier had tried to rob the clerk at the business. Charges included two counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, theft and reckless endangerment.

Woodoak Ct., 200 block, 5:55 p.m. Dec. 15. Two males threatened a man in a wooded area and demanded cash. After a struggle, the assailants fled with the victim’s wallet. No serious injuries were reported.

LAUREL AREA
ROBBERIES

Corridor Market Pl., 3300 block, 8:30 p.m. Dec. 16. A male in a parking lot pushed a female to the ground from behind, then grabbed her purse and fled with a male accomplice.

Ertter Dr., 100 block, 8:54 p.m. Dec. 16. Two males in the entry-way of an apartment building demanded property from three male teenagers at gunpoint. The victims refused and ran away.

Marcey Creek Rd., 3500 block, 10:41 p.m. Dec. 18. A man armed with a gun got out of a vehicle and demanded cash from a man near a parked vehicle. He then forced man inside his nearby residence, robbed him of a cash, and fled in the vehicle driven by a male accomplice. Based on a description of the vehicle, a traffic stop was made on Russett Green East near Route 198. Two males abandoned the vehicle. After a foot chase, an arrest was made. A Lanham man, 20, was charged with armed robbery and related charges.

SEVERN AREA
HOMICIDES

Fair Breeze Dr., 8000 block, Dec. 6. David Lamont Hurley, 45, of Severn, was injured during a fight with a male acquaintance. He was found on the ground, unresponsive, and taken to a hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries. On Dec. 13, he died after being taken off life support. An investigation was ongoing.

ROBBERIES

Severn Orchard Cir. and Pioneer Dr., 8:50 p.m. Dec. 19. A man robbed two pedestrians at gunpoint, then fled on foot.

Annapolis

ROBBERIES

Conduit St., unit block, 5 p.m. Dec. 15. A male ran up behind a female and pushed her to the ground, then fled with her purse. No injuries were reported.

Forest Dr., 1700 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 16. Two males robbed two males of cash at gunpoint, then fled in a vehicle.

Newtowne Dr., 700 block, 10:20 a.m. Dec. 13. Two males attacked a motorist who had just gotten inside his vehicle, taking the keys from the ignition and forcing him from the vehicle. They then tried to run him down with the vehicle. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was recovered on Crystal Springs Road at 1:30 p.m. that same day.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

South Cherry Grove, 700 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 18 to 8 a.m. Dec. 19. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Crisfield Way, 700 block, 10 p.m. Dec. 13 to 8:30 a.m. Dec. 14. Cash and gloves were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Forest Dr., 1700 block, 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. Dec. 14. A parking-permit placard was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Forest Hills Ave., 900 block, 12:01 to 6 a.m. Dec. 16. A necklace and several books were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window with a rock.

Forest Hills Ave., 900 block, 7 p.m. Dec. 18 to 1 a.m. Dec. 19. A handgun, a laptop computer, a camera and video game systems were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement window.

Main St., 100 block, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 16. A purse was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window with a brick.

Quiet Waters Pl., 100 block, 5 p.m. Dec. 15 to 10 a.m. Dec. 16. Gift cards and clothes were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

Tyler Ave., 1100 block, 2:30 p.m. Dec. 13. A wallet was stolen from a residence entered by force. A man was seen fleeing with the property.

Warren Dr., 700 block, 8:20 to 8:30 a.m. Dec. 14. A parking-permit placard was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Market Space, unit block, Dec. 15 to Dec. 17. A gray 2009 Acura TSX was stolen.

Eastwind Way, 10500 block, 10:01 p.m. Dec. 19. Three males forced their way into a residence at gunpoint. After searching the premises, they fled empty-handed when an occupant called 911.

Foreland Garth, 6000 block, 8:07 p.m. Dec. 14. Four male teenagers threatened two males near a gas station, then fled with cash from their pockets. The victims were struck by rocks and suffered minor facial injuries.

Governor Warfield Pkwy. and Twin Rivers Rd., 11:52 p.m. Dec. 15. A group of males threatened a bicyclist and fled with his shoes.

Summer Blossom Lane, 7500 block, 1:50 a.m. Dec. 17. Three males wearing masks forced their way into a residence at gunpoint, then fled with cash, a wallet, a cellphone, prescription medication and a puppy.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Columbia Rd., 5300 block, 8:41 a.m. Dec. 19. An apartment was entered by breaking a bedroom window. The intruder was seen fleeing empty-handed through the front door.

Columbia 100 Pkwy., 8800 block, 5:05 p.m. Dec. 17. A man pried open the door to an office suite, then fled empty-handed when confronted by occupants. Attempts also had been made to force two other doors in the building.

Dartmouth Rd., 9400 block, 3:15 to 8:15 p.m. Dec. 15. A computer, jewelry and a camera were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked living-room window.

Dorsey Hall Dr., 5300 block, 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Dec. 19. Costume jewelry and scarves were stolen from an apartment in an assisted-living facility. There was no sign of forced entry.

Evening Wind Ct., 10700 block, Dec. 10 to Dec. 17. Two diamond rings were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

Evening Wind Ct., 10700 block, 11 to 11:45 a.m. Dec. 18. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing the front door. Nothing was reported missing.

Greathead Ct., 5400 block, 7:35 p.m. Dec. 18. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked back door.

Hayshed Lane, 8700 block, 10:45 p.m. Dec. 15. A male wearing a ski mask entered an occupied residence, then fled empty-handed when confronted.

Morning Leap Terr., 9600 block, 9:45 to 11:45 a.m. Dec. 13. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a back rear door.

Oakland Mills Rd., 5700 block, 5 p.m. Dec. 18 to 6 a.m. Dec. 19. A press box at a park was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

Swift Stream Pl., 10300 block, Oct. 28 to Dec. 12. A TV, tools, purses and gift cards were stolen from a storage unit entered by force. A nearby unit also was entered, but nothing was reported missing. The break-ins were discovered at 9:45 p.m. Dec. 12.

Tamar Dr., 6300 block, 6:20 to 7 p.m. Dec. 14. A tablet computer, a camera and coins were stolen from a residence entered by prying open the front door.

Tidesebb Ct., 8800 block, 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Dec. 19. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

Wetbanks Ct., 8900 block, 7:55 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 18. Jewelry, a laptop computer and a tablet computer were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked dining-room window.

Willow Bottom Dr., 11000 block, 7:32 p.m. Dec. 15. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a basement window. Nothing was reported missing.

Deep Cup, 7000 block, 10 p.m. Dec. 9 to 8:57 a.m. Dec. 10. A silver 2004 Nissan Altima was stolen.

Peartree Way, 11200 block, 9 p.m. Dec. 13 to 6:43 a.m. Dec. 14. A silver 2001 Mercury Sable was stolen.

Swift Stream Pl., 10300 block, 8:41 a.m. Dec. 14. An attempt was made to steal a Nissan Sentra by damaging the ignition.

Swift Stream Pl., 123000 block, 11:04 a.m. Dec. 14. An attempt was made to steal a vehicle by damaging the steering column.

Pirch Way, 6600 block, 3:30 p.m. Dec. 12. A male in a mobile home was threatened and robbed by an acquaintance.

Dorsey Run Rd., 7100 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 14 to 6:20 a.m. Dec. 17. Copper wiring was stolen from a storage area in a commercial lot.

Washington Blvd., 7500 block, 2 to 4 a.m. Dec. 16. A flea market was entered by removing a fan vent and climbing down a knotted rope. Nothing was reported missing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Font Hill Dr., 4000 block, 5 p.m. Dec. 14 to noon Dec. 16. A pillowcase was stolen from a residence entered through a basement window.

Grosvenor Dr., 3700 block, 12:01 to 8 a.m. Dec. 17. Two laptop computers were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked porch door.

Grosvenor Dr., 3800 block, 11 p.m. Dec. 16 to 7 a.m. Dec. 17. A wallet and coins were among property stolen from a residence and a garage entered through an unlocked door.

Lee Farm Ct., 4900 block, 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by using a key. After learning of a similar incident in September, police found two juvenile neighbors to be in possession of the missing property. Except for a gift card, the property was recovered.

Madelaine Ct., 9800 block, 2 to 6 a.m. Dec. 17. A laptop computer and a wallet were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding-glass door.

Normandy Woods Dr., 3200 block, 8:53 p.m. Dec. 17. A group of six males were seen trying to enter a vacant apartment. Nothing was reported missing.

Old Frederick Rd., 8800 block, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 17. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked back door.

River Falls Ct., 2900 block, 5:30 to 7:45 a.m. Dec. 18. A purse was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage.

Sarasota Ct., 2900 block, 9:30 p.m. Dec. 17 to 6:15 a.m. Dec. 18. A purse was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage.

Triadelphia Rd., 11800 block, 4:09 p.m. Dec. 17. Jewelry, three shotguns and a black-powder gun were stolen from a residence.
