ALDIE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Goshen Ridge Pl., 41500 block, Jan. 2. Cable wiring was stolen from a construction site.

Revival Dr., 41500 block, 12:01 a.m. Dec. 28 to 12:37 p.m. Jan. 2. Copper wiring was stolen from a construction site.

Summerall Dr., 25500 block, 3:17 a.m. Jan. 4. A man was found inside a building belonging to a homeowners association. A South Riding man, 18, was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Coltsfoot Terr., 20000 block, 1:50 p.m. Dec. 27. A man in a stairwell at an apartment complex robbed a man of a cellphone and cash at gunpoint.

ASSAULTS

Dry Mill Rd., 400 block, 12:35 p.m. Jan. 3. An assault was reported.

Hancock Pl., unit block, 4:42 p.m. Jan. 1. Threats were reported.

Meadows Lane, 100 block, 7:10 p.m. Jan. 2. An assault was reported. Police said it was a domestic incident.

Plaza St., unit block, 12:24 p.m. Dec. 30. Threats were reported.

Plaza St., unit block, 10:04 p.m. Jan. 3. An assault was reported. Police said it was a domestic incident.

Stallion Sq., 300 block, 3:58 p.m. Dec. 31. Threats were reported.

Washington St., 100 block, 1:01 p.m. Dec. 31. An assault was reported. Police said it was a domestic incident.

Washington St., 100 block, 6:08 p.m. Jan. 1. An assault was reported. Police said it was a domestic incident.

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Village Green Dr., 13500 block, 1:24 p.m. Jan. 1. While showing a weapon to an acquaintance, a Leesburg man, 46, shot himself in the hand. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Fairway Oaks Sq., 18300 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 31. A theft was reported.

Fort Evans Rd., unit block, 5:43 p.m. Jan. 3. Fraud was reported.

Harrison St., 200 block, 9:14 a.m. Jan. 2. Embezzlement was reported.

Millbrook Terr., 300 block, 1:08 p.m. Dec. 28. A theft was reported.

Radford Terr., 500 block, 7:53 p.m. Jan. 2. A theft was reported.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Cornwall Ct., 200 block, 10:26 p.m. Jan. 1. A vehicle was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Charles Town Pike, 35400 block, noon Dec. 31 to 2:51 p.m. Jan. 3. Lights were stolen from a house under construction.

STERLING AREA
ROBBERIES

Providence Village Dr. and Edinburgh Sq., 6:50 p.m. Jan. 3. Two males followed a woman walking toward a house, threatened her and fled with her purse.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Yorktown Ct., 1000 block, 8:04 p.m. Dec. 31. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Sugarland Run Sq., unit block, 6:19 to 6:21 a.m. Dec. 26. A 2011 Toyota Camry was stolen after its key was eft in the ignition.

VANDALISM

Sugarland Oaks Sq., 21900 block, 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Jan. 2. A window was damaged at a residence.
