CHESAPEAKE BEACH

ASSAULTS

Chesapeake Beach, 2:06 a.m. Jan. 1. Responding to a report of a disturbance at a restaurant, a police officer was attacked by a man who had to be restrained with a taser device. A Lusby man, 32, was arrested on charges including second-degree assault, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Tobacco Rd., Jan. 3 to Jan. 4. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Randle Ave., Jan. 2 to 6. A log splitter was stolen from a residence.

Stevens Lane, 10:30 p.m. Jan. 3 to 5:45 a.m. Jan. 4. Cash and gift cards were among property stolen from two unlocked vehicles in an open garage.

Carson Dr., 8:18 a.m. Jan. 5. A break-in was reported at a shed. Nothing was reported missing.

Huntingtown Rd., 9:19 a.m. Dec. 29. An oil tank was stolen.

LUSBY AREA

ASSAULTS

Barrada Blvd., 12:54 a.m. Jan. 6. During an argument, a man attacked an acquaintance. A Lusby man, 31, was charged with assault, destruction of property, failing to obey a lawful order, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Comstock Dr., 3:13 a.m. Dec. 26. An attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking a window.

Muskogee Lane, 9:24 a.m. Dec. 24. Tools were stolen from a shed.

VANDALISM

Lazy River Rd., 8:30 a.m. Dec. 21. Vehicle tires were punctured and yard decorations damaged at a residence.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bedford Dr., Dec. 30 to Dec. 31. An attempt was made to steal a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle.

Boothhaven Lane, 3:39 p.m. Dec. 31. A man attacked an acquaintance at a residence and then attacked a police officer responding to a report of a disturbance. An Owings man, 55, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Binnacle Lane, Dec. 28 to Jan. 3. Catalytic converters were stolen from two vehicles parked at a business.

Investment Ct., Dec. 26 to Dec. 31. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked at a business.

Owings Manor Ct., Dec. 31 to Jan. 1. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen from the back yard of a residence.

Solomons Island Rd., Jan. 4 to Jan. 5. Cash was stolen from a gym entered by breaking glass in a front door.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dares Beach Rd., Jan. 5 to Jan. 6. Cash was stolen from a business entered by damaging a front door.

Dares Beach Rd., 1:22 a.m. Jan. 6. An attempt was made to enter a gym by breaking glass in a back door.

Schooner Lane, 8:41 p.m. Dec. 22. A reciprocating saw was stolen from a n auto-body repair shop. Charges are pending against an employee of the business, a 35-year-old Prince Frederick man.

Solomons Island Rd., 9:17 a.m. Jan. 4. Four wheels were stolen from a vehicle parked at a car dealership.

VANDALISM

Dresser Ave., 10:10 a.m. Dec. 27. A vehicle door was damaged.

SUNDERLAND AREA

VANDALISM

Alta Dr., 7:52 p.m. Jan. 3. During an altercation, a man broke a door and damaged a wall at a residence. A Sunderland man, 23, was arrested.

Archway Lane, Jan. 8 to Jan. 9. A trailer containing tools and equipment was stolen from a construction site.

Bucktown Rd., 7100 block, 4 p.m. Jan. 8. Responding to a report of a break-in, police found a man inside a building. Stolen property was found in his vehicle, which was parked nearby. A Hughesville man, 41, was charged with burglary.

Carrico Mill Rd., 6800 block, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 9. A television and a speaker were stolen from a residence.

MARBURY AREA

Marbury Run Rd., 5000 block, Jan. 8 to Jan. 9. A generator and a set of tires were stolen from a shed.

White Fir Ct., 3400 block, 12:09 p.m. Jan. 10. A man robbed a woman at gunpoint. The woman said he was dressed as a deliveryman.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Guilford Dr., 3200 block, Jan. 2 to Jan. 4. An e-reader and a jacket were stolen from a residence.

Mattawoman-Beantown Rd., January 2 to 4. Catalytic converters were stolen from two vehicles parked at a commuter lot.

Montgomery Lane, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 4. Electronic items and cash were stolen from a residence.

Old Bailey Ct., 2200 block, 2:11 p.m. Jan. 4. An attempt was made to enter a residence by removing a screen from a window. A door also had been forced.

Pine Cone Cir., 3500 block, 1:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 4. Electronic items were stolen from a residence.

St. Paul’s Dr., 1000 block, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 7. An iPad, jewelry and clothes were stolen from a residence.

Sugar Maple Ct., 3500 block, 1:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 4. Electronic items were stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

Golden Eagle Pl., 11300 block, 8:59 p.m. Jan. 6. A residence was damaged by gunshot. It was learned that a weapon had been heard being discharged, but that no one had reported the incident to police.

LEONARDTOWN AREA

Leonardtown, Jan. 4. A wallet was lost in a parking lot. Credit cards from the wallet were used to make purchases at grocery stores.
