Gertrude Troyer, a Mennonite cake baker from Plain City, Ohio, moved to Kenilworth 46 years ago, where she has been a missionary, a summer camp organizer and a construction office custodian. Now she supports herself in part by running a cake business in the brick home she shares with one of the girls she first mentored decades ago.
