A spiritual visit

The Dalai Lama will be in Washington this week to conduct an ancient Tibetan Buddhist ritual called a Kalachakra, referring to the wheel of time. The event, held primarily at Verizon Center, involves several days of explanation, meditation and complex visualization on compassion and the nature of reality. Here are some key items used in the Kalachakra ceremony.
