The Dalai Lama will be in Washington this week to conduct an ancient Tibetan Buddhist ritual called a Kalachakra, referring to the wheel of time. The event, held primarily at Verizon Center, involves several days of explanation, meditation and complex visualization on compassion and the nature of reality.
