SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Frederick St. S., 1000 block, 8:30 a.m. Oct. 4. A man groped a woman as she was walking to a bus stop.

ROBBERIES

Glebe Rd. N., 400 block, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 4. Two males robbed a man of cash and a wallet at gunpoint.

Glebe Rd. S., 200 block, 2:49 a.m. Oct. 6. A man tried to take money from a cash register at a convenience store, then destroyed store property. A 31-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested. Charges included assault, robbery and destruction of property.

Langley St. S., 2000 block, 1:20 p.m. Oct. 4. A man threatened an acquaintance and robbed her of a cellphone.

Lee Hwy., 2100 block, 12:15 a.m. Oct. 9. Two males wearing masks threatened a male bicyclist and robbed him of the bike, helmet and keys, then fled in a vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Clarendon Blvd. N., 1700 block, Oct. 1. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Columbia Pike, 1900 block, 12:51 a.m. Oct. 4. An attempt was made to enter an apartment through a window. The intruder fled empty-handed after being confronted.

Edgewood St. N., 800 block, 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Oct. 9. A laptop computer was stolen from an apartment.

Fairfax Dr. N., 2200 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 27 to 12:06 p.m. Oct. 4. Property was stolen from a business.

Fort Myer Dr. N., 1000 block, 11 a.m. Oct. 4. A laptop computer and a wallet were stolen from a classroom.

Garfield St. N., 1200 block, 6:15 p.m. Oct. 3 to 11:17 a.m. Oct. 4. Property was stolen from several vehicles.

Glebe Rd. N., 2800 block, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 4 to 11 a.m. Oct. 5. Cash was stolen from a dormitory room.

Lee Hwy. N., 3700 block, Oct. 1. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Queen St. S., 1300 block, 3:30 to 8 a.m. Oct. 7. Cash, credit cards, a laptop computer, a video game system and an iPhone were stolen from a residence. The iPhone’s Global Positioning System was used to track a suspect. A 40-year-old Arlington woman was arrested. Charges included burglary and grand larceny.

Quincy St. N., 600 block, 2:10 p.m. Oct. 5 to 8:40 a.m. Oct. 6. Property was stolen from a construction site.

Wakefield St. S., 3300 block, 9:57 a.m. Oct. 4. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a window. A man fled empty-handed after being confronted.

Wilson Blvd., 1500 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 3 to 8:34 a.m. Oct. 4. Two laptop computers were stolen from a business.

20th Pl. and N. 21st St., 6 a.m. Oct. 2. Investigating a report about a man removing property from vehicles, police made an arrest after a brief foot chase. A 52-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with several counts of theft and vehicle tampering.
