ASSAULTS

Braddock Rd. E., 500 block, 3:32 p.m. March 13. An assault was reported.

Ellsworth St., 100 block, 5:58 p.m. March 11. Two people fought each other.

Holland Lane, 500 block, 4:35 a.m. March 11. Two people fought each other.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 3600 block, 1:05 p.m. March 10. Two people fought each other.

Jenkins St. S., 100 block, 9:16 p.m. March 11. An assault was reported. An arrest was made.

Kenmore Ave., 4700 block, 2:15 a.m. March 13. Two people fought each other.

King St., 1600 block, 9:38 a.m. March 11. An assault was reported.

Milan Dr., 3800 block, 8:07 p.m. March 9. Two people fought each other. An arrest was made.

Monroe Ave. W., 100 block, 2:53 p.m. March 9. Two people fought each other.

Mount Vernon Ave., 3400 block, 12:10 a.m. March 10. A police officer was attacked while making an arrest. A person was charged with resisting arrest. No serious injuries were reported.

Mount Vernon Ave., 3400 block, 5:10 p.m. March 12. An assault was reported.

Mount Vernon Ave., 4100 block, 12:31 a.m. March 11. An assault was reported. An arrest was made.

Pitt St. S., 200 block, 8:41 p.m. March 8. A person attacked an acquaintance at a workplace. No serious injuries were reported.

Reed Ave. W., 100 block, 6:56 p.m. March 8. Two people fought each other.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Alfred St. S., 900 block, 8:04 a.m. March 13. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

Beauregard St. N., 3800 block, 12:01 p.m. March 8. A wallet was stolen from the purse of a passenger on a bus.

Bellefonte Ave. E., unit block, 7:20 a.m. March 11. Rolls of copper wire were stolen from an apartment building under renovation.

Cambridge Rd., 200 block, 4:03 p.m. March 7. A cellphone was stolen from a locker room at a school.

Cameron St., 800 block, 12:18 p.m. March 7. Two delivered packages were stolen from a residence.

John Carlyle St., 300 block, 8:54 p.m. March 7. A laptop computer was stolen from a business. A former employee is a suspect in the incident.

Kenmore Ave., 4800 block, 2:27 p.m. March 7. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

King St., 1100 block, 1:02 p.m. March 9. Jewelry was stolen from a store.

King St., 1300 block, 2:29 a.m. March 9. Three people left a restaurant without paying for their meal.

Oakville St., 2500 block, 11:35 a.m. March 10. Cash was stolen from a wallet at a gym.

Payne St. N., 100 block, 8:25 a.m. March 13. A theft was reported.

Pickett St. S., 200 block, 3:03 p.m. March 8. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Ripley St. N., 300 block, 12:21 p.m. March 8. Jewelry was stolen from an apartment.

Seminary Rd., 4900 block, 6:24 p.m. March 6. A shoplifting incident was reported. An arrest was made.

Sheffield Ct., 5400 block, 9:09 to 9:30 a.m. March 8. Laundry rooms at an apartment complex were entered, one of them by force.

Slaters Lane, 900 block, 12:50 p.m. March 12. A wallet was stolen from a person at a coffee shop.

Union St. S., 100 block, 5:42 p.m. March 9. Cash was stolen from a cash register at a store.

Whiting St. S., 100 block, 11:20 p.m. March 6. A fraud incident was reported.

Whiting St. S., 200 block, 8:21 p.m. March 7. A cellphone was stolen from a person.

Yoakum Pkwy., 200 block, 5:41 p.m. March 8. Jewelry was among property stolen from an apartment entered by forcing a door.

First St., 600 block, 10:16 p.m. March 11. A theft was reported.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 3700 block, 6:29 p.m. March 8. A vehicle was stolen from a lot at a business where it was being repaired.

Stevenson Ave., 6300 block, 3:59 a.m. March 7. A vehicle was stolen.

Arlington

ASSAULTS

Garfield St. N., 1400 block, 9:05 p.m. March 9. During an altercation inside a restaurant that continued onto a nearby street, a man sustained a head laceration. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Two Alexandria men, ages 27 and 28, and a Lorton man, 22, were arrested on charges that included malicious wounding by mob.

Randolph St. N., 900 block, 4:15 a.m. March 9. A cabdriver was punched and kicked repeatedly after he confronted a couple who did not pay the fare. An employee of an apartment complex who intervened was also attacked. An Arlington man, 30, and a Bowie woman, 29, were arrested on charges of malicious wounding. No serious injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

Stuart St. N., 900 block, 6:10 p.m. March 12. Four males threatened a woman and robbed her of a cellphone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Arlington Ridge Rd. S., 2700 block, 10 p.m. March 11. A man broke into an occupied residence, then fled empty-handed when confronted.

Fern St. S., 1500 block, 8 to 11:26 p.m. March 6. Property was stolen from a purse in a residence.

Harrison St. N., 2200 block, 9:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 11. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through a window.

31st St. S., 4400 block, 3 p.m. March 1 and 2 p.m. March 2. Property was stolen from a residence. A Woodbridge woman, 28, was charged with breaking and entering.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Adams St. N., 2000 block, March 12. A white-and-blue 2008 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.

Courthouse Rd. S., 1200 block, March 5. A white 1990 Nissan Maxima was stolen.

Eads St. S., 1900 block, March 8. A silver 2002 Jeep Liberty was stolen.

18th St. S., 200 block, March 8. A dark-blue 2006 Dodge Caravan was stolen.
