ANNAPOLIS AREA

HIT-AND-RUN INCIDENTS

Bayhead Road and E. College Parkway, 7:47 p.m. July 26. A gray Hyundai Elantra traveling west struck a man on a bicycle and did not stop. The 59-year-old victim was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle is described as being no more than four years old and as having sustained a broken windshield and fog light on the passenger side. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-222-6145.

BROOKLYN PARK AREA

ROBBERIES

Ritchie Hwy., 5000 block, 4:54 a.m. Aug. 2. During an attempted robbery near his vehicle in a parking lot, a man was stabbed. The assailant fled empty-handed. The victim drove himself to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

GLEN BURNIE AREA

ROBBERIES

Crain Highway and First Avenue, 11:03 p.m. July 31. Two males forced a pedestrian to the ground, robbed him of a cellphone and a wallet, then fled in a small tan vehicle. No serious injuries were reported.

Highland Ave., 300 block, 9:27 p.m. Aug. 1. Two males attacked a pizza delivery driver at an apartment complex, then fled on foot with his wallet, cash and keys.

Warwickshire Lane, 100 block, 11:15 p.m. July 31. Four male teenagers attacked a man who had arranged to meet with one of them to purchase a cellphone. The assailants fled with cash and a cellphone.

LAUREL AREA

ROBBERIES

Russett Green E., 3500 block, 12:02 a.m. Aug. 2. A male pedestrian ordered food at a restaurant’s drive-through window, then robbed a cashier at knifepoint.

Annapolis

ROBBERIES

West St., 2000 block, 12:15 p.m. July 28. A man confronted a teenager sitting on the man’s scooter near his residence in the 100 block of Madison Street. The teenager demanded cash at knifepoint, then forced the man to drive him to a bank on the scooter. At the bank, the man told a teller to call police, who arrested the teenager, still sitting on the scooter. A Severn male, 17, was charged with attempted armed robbery, second-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon with the intent to injure, reckless endangerment and theft.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Tyler Ave., 1200 block, 3:30 to 4:20 p.m. July 29. A video game system was stolen from a residence entered by kicking in the front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Barbud Lane, 1200 block, 3:15 a.m. July 29. An Annapolis man, 19, was arrested in connection with the theft of a vehicle. In his possession were Global Positioning System devices, cellphones and cash linked to vehicle break-ins in the 900 block of Berwick Drive and the 900 block of Langdon Court.

Westbridge Dr., 1900 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 2 to 6 a.m. Aug. 3. A black-and-red scooter was stolen from a parking place.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Galway Dr., 6400 block, 7 to 10:45 p.m. July 30. Two safes containing cash were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Trotter Rd., 6100 block, 5:29 p.m. Aug. 2. An attempt was made to break into a garage by forcing a door.

Wescott Pl., 6900 block, Aug. 2 to Aug. 3. A vehicle break-in occurred in an open garage.

COLUMBIA AREA

INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENTS

Harpers Farm Rd., 5700 block, 6:01 p.m. Aug. 1. A man exposed himself to a pedestrian. A Columbia man, 29, was charged with indecent exposure.

ROBBERIES

Slalom Lane, 11200 block, 12:05 p.m. Aug. 1. Three laptops were stolen from a residence. An occupant said that an acquaintance had been allowed inside and that two other people followed. The three intruders then fled together with the property.

Stevens Forest Rd., 5800 block, 5:14 a.m. Aug. 3. Two males robbed a group of people waiting for a cab of cellphones and cash at gunpoint. A shot was fired. No injuries were reported.

Cradlerock Way, 7100 block, 4:33 a.m. Aug. 3. An attempt was made to break into a liquor store by breaking glass in a front door.

Daystar Ct., 10300 block, Aug. 1 to Aug. 3. A TV and a refrigerator were among property stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

Guilford Rd., 8600 block, 2:29 a.m. Aug. 3. Glass was broken in a front door at a fast-food restaurant.

Hickory Ridge Rd., 10800 block, 4:09 a.m. Aug. 1. Cash was stolen from cash registers at a restaurant entered by breaking a front window.

Lake Circle West, 5000 block, 5:45 to 10 p.m. July 29. A residence was entered by breaking glass near a door.

Jerry’s Dr., 6000 block, 5:45 a.m. July 31. A purse was stolen from an occupied residence. An intruder, who triggered an alarm, fled through the back door.

Judy Lane, 10700 block, 7 p.m. July 28 to 11:14 a.m. July 30. A break-in occurred at a residence, which was then used for a party. The interior and exterior of the home were vandalized.

Pine Dr., 6700 block, July 29. Glass was broken in a back door at a residence.

Sleeping Dog Lane, 5500 block, 7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 28. A laptop and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a sliding-glass door.

Vollmerhausen Rd., 9100 block, 8:40 p.m. Aug. 2. A school was entered through a window.

Waveland Way, 6400 block, 5:15 a.m. July 23 to 10 p.m. July 30. Two TVs, video game systems and a computer were among property stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.

Governor Kent Terr., 8300 block, 8:57 p.m. July 28. A residence was entered by breaking glass near a door.

Governor’s Run, 8400 block, 1:03 p.m. Aug. 1. An occupied residence was entered by breaking glass next to a door. Three males fled empty-handed when confronted.

Old Frederick Rd., 9400 block, 2:19 a.m. July 31. A vending machine was damaged inside a school that is under construction.

Mount Ida Dr., 3600 block, 3 to 7:20 a.m. Aug. 1. Air-conditioning units were among property stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a door.

Wheaton Way, 3200 block, 7:15 to 8 p.m. July 31. A laptop was stolen from a residence entered by removing a screen door.

Dorsey Run Rd., 8100 block, 6 p.m. July 29 to 7 a.m. July 30. Power tools were stolen from trailers at a business.

Laurel Fort Meade Rd., 3600 block, 8:15 p.m. July 28. A man in a race-track parking lot robbed a cab driver of his vehicle and cash at gunpoint.

Washington Blvd., 9900 block, 2:20 p.m. July 31. During a dispute over cash, a male armed with a pellet gun threatened two acquaintances, then fled empty-handed. A Burtonsville male, 17, was arrested. Charges included attempted armed robbery, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

All Saints Rd., 9100 block, 3:29 a.m. Aug. 3. Cigarettes and beverages were stolen from a liquor store entered by breaking glass in a front door.

Country Meadows Lane, 9700 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 2 to 6 a.m. Aug. 3. A video game system, a purse, a wallet, sunglasses and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding-glass door.

Robinson Blvd., 9900 block, 12:25 a.m. Aug. 3. A residence was entered through a window. A male was seen fleeing empty-handed.

Washington Blvd., 9700 block, 9:45 p.m. Aug. 2. Two people gained access to a motel room, then tried to renew the room key at the front desk. Two people were arrested.

Bryant Ave., 9000 block, 3:20 a.m. July 30. A 2000 Dodge van was stolen.

Hughes Ave., 9900 block, 7:36 a.m. July 30. A green 2003 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

Mayflower Ct., 9400 block, 10 p.m. July 29 to 4 a.m. July 30. An attempt was made to steal a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country from a driveway.

MOUNT AIRY AREA

Long Corner Rd., 1200 block, 4 p.m. July 29. A guitar amplifier was stolen from a residence entered by breaking through the roof. A West Friendship man, 20, was charged with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary and theft. A juvenile also was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Howard Hills Dr., 8800 block, 6:40 a.m. to 3:31 p.m. July 30. A residence was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.
