BROOKLYN PARK AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cross St., 700 block, 1:54 a.m. Feb. 9. Two men were seen stripping gutters and siding from a building. Two Brooklyn Park men, ages 18 and 27, were arrested on charges that included burglary and theft.

GAMBRILLS AREA

ROBBERIES

Crain Hwy., 1000 block, 12:44 a.m. Feb. 10. A man robbed a convenience store at gunpoint. A shot was fired into the ceiling during the incident.

GLEN BURNIE AREA

HOMICIDES

Oak Manor Drive, 7 a.m. Feb. 12. A man, 28, of no fixed address, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 31-year-old Sir Keith English Queen Jones, whose body was found Dec. 30 in the 7300 block of Furnace Branch Road in Glen Burnie.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ritchie Hwy., 7200 block, Feb. 11. In connection with the thefts of several bronze grave-site markers last summer, a Pasadena man, 42, was arrested on felony theft charges.

ODENTON AREA

ASSAULTS

Annapolis Rd., 1600 block, 1:27 a.m. Feb. 10. Four males fought with a person in a motel room, then left the premises. A short time later, and a shot was fired into the room from the parking lot. A man was taken to a hospital for treatment of a minor injury. An investigation was ongoing.

PASADENA AREA

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Woods Rd., 800 block, 11:03 p.m. Feb. 9. A man shot two dogs that had killed two goats in a fenced pen and then had charged at a person who intervened. The owner of the dogs, one of which died of a gunshot wound, contacted police. A firearm was confiscated. An investigation was ongoing.

HOMICIDES

Bens Dr., unit block, Feb. 7. The body of a 2-year-old girl was found near a residence. An Annapolis woman, 25, was arrested on charges that included first- and second-degree murder.

ASSAULTS

Bens Dr., unit block, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13. During a fight outside an apartment building, a man was stabbed. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor lacerations.

ROBBERIES

Melrob Ct., unit block, 4:15 p.m. Feb. 10. Three male teenagers threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet. The victim was treated at the scene for a facial laceration.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cutter Ct., 600 block, 6 p.m. Feb. 9 to 10 a.m. Feb. 10. A camera and a video game console were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Cutter Ct., 600 block, 6 p.m. Feb. 9 to 10 a.m. Feb. 10. A pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Dominoe Rd., 1900 block, 2 a.m. Feb. 10. A man chased away a male he saw inside his parked vehicle. Two other people were seen fleeing the area. Two nearby vehicles also had been entered. The vehicles all had been left unlocked. Nothing was reported missing.

Fairfax Rd., 1900 block, 1 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Feb. 10. A briefcase was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Goodrich Rd., unit block, 6 p.m. Feb. 5 to 9 a.m. Feb. 6. A 12-foot section of brass pipe was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.

Norman Dr., 1000 block, 1 to 8 a.m. Feb. 7. A vacant apartment was entered by breaking glass in a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

Old Solomons Island Rd., 200 block, 5:15 p.m. Feb. 7. Two males stole sweatshirts, T-shirts, baseball caps and other merchandise from a business.

Primrose Ct., 1100 block, 11:30 p.m. Feb. 9 to 10 a.m. Feb. 10. A purse and a gym bag were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Tyler Ave., 1200 block, 1:40 p.m. Feb. 10. Three bicycles were stolen from the back yard of a residence.

Wainwright St., 100 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 30 to 7 a.m. Jan. 31. A tablet computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Warren Dr., 700 block, 4 p.m. Feb. 7 to 10 a.m. Feb. 8. A ceiling tile was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.

West St., 1900 block, Jan. 1 to 28. Four wheels and tires were stolen from a vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Bricin St. and Melrob Ct., 12:15 to 6 a.m. Feb. 10. A black 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse was stolen.

Little Patuxent Pkwy., 10300 block, 3:34 p.m. Feb. 10. A man in a vehicle exposed himself to two pedestrians near a movie theater.

Marble Faun Lane, 10500 block, 3:54 p.m. Feb. 13. Three males threatened a pedestrian and fled with his sneakers.

Twin Rivers Rd., 10400 block, 8:36 p.m. Feb. 8. Two men got out of a minivan and robbed a male pedestrian of cash at knifepoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bare Bush Path, 12200 block, 9:20 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. Feb. 13. An attempt was made to enter a residence by kicking in a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

Benjamin Franklin Dr., 6800 block, 3 p.m. Feb. 11. to 6 a.m. Feb. 12. A 24-foot section of copper wire was stolen from a storage container entered by cutting off a lock.

Dockside Lane, 7200 block, 1:51 a.m. Feb. 10. An intruder was found asleep in a residence by an occupant returning home. A 55-year-old Massachusetts man was arrested at the scene.

Dorchester Way, 10700 block, 7:46 p.m. Feb. 8. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Flamepool Way, 9000 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 8 to 2 a.m. Feb. 9. Jewelry and cash were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked back door.

Knighthood Lane, 6900 block, 9:02 p.m. Feb. 9. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence.

ROBBERY

Deep Run Pkwy., 6600 block, 7:36 p.m. Feb. 11. During what police described as a transaction involving illegal drugs, four males threatened and robbed a male.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Hunt Club Rd., 6100 block, 7 to 9:12 p.m. Feb. 9. A screen was removed and a kitchen window was partially opened at a residence. An outdoor chair was used to reach the window. Nothing was reported stolen.

Kit Kat Rd., 7100 block, 7 a.m. Feb. 6 to 6 a.m. Feb. 11. Tools were stolen from a construction shop entered by breaking a lock on sliding doors.

Montgomery Rd., 7200 block, 4 p.m. Feb. 10 to 7:55 a.m. Feb. 11. A nursery was entered by cutting a fence and plastic sheeting. Nothing was reported stolen.

Rocky Glen Way, 2700 block, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 13. Jewelry, a purse and a stereo were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a front door.

Old Waterloo Rd., 6700 block, 12:09 a.m. Feb. 12. A male pulled a screen off an apartment window and fled when a resident discovered him.

Setter Dr., 5900 block, 8:30 to 10:38 p.m. Feb. 9. A TV, an antique box, jewelry and a photo were stolen from a residence entered with no sign of force.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ashley Ct., 4500 block, 5 a.m. to noon, Feb. 13. Jewelry, cash, video game equipment, a laptop computer and a gift card were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a basement door.

Chapel Ave., 8900 block, 6 p.m. Feb. 5 to 8:09 p.m. Feb. 12. A residence was entered by forcing a window. Nothing was reported missing.

Clarksville Pike, 14000 block, 1:52 a.m. Feb. 9. A man tried to enter a residence by breaking glass in a back door, then banged on the front door of a nearby residence. A Laurel man, 20, was arrested on charges that included attempted burglary, destruction of property, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

Globe Dr., 10200 block, 4:30 to 9:54 p.m. Feb. 8. A safe, cash and receipts were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Macalpine Rd., 3600 block, 8 a.m. Jan. 15 to 9 a.m. Feb. 8. Coins were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Roberts Rd., 8400 block, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10. Two safes containing jewelry, coins and documents were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Bold Ruler Ct., 3700 block, 8:37 p.m. Feb. 9. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a laundry room door.

Roxbury Meadow Dr., 14300 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 8 to 10 a.m. Feb. 12. A microwave oven and a dishwasher were stolen from a residence under construction entered through an unlocked window.

HIGHLAND AREA

Koandah Gardens, 6800 block, 7:05 p.m. Feb. 9. A residence was entered by breaking glass in a door. Occupants returning to the home confronted a man who had been ransacking the premises. After a brief struggle, he fled empty-handed.

JESSUP AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dorsey Run Rd., 7900 block, 4 p.m. Feb. 11. Forklift batteries and copper pieces were stolen from a tool shed and a shipping container at a business lot entered by cutting a lock to a main gate.

Washington Blvd., 8100 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 11 to 8 a.m. Feb. 12. Approximately 100 catalytic computers were stolen from a container at a junk yard. There was no sign of forced entry to the lot or to the container.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Riggs Hill Rd., 10600 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 7. A gray Ford pickup truck was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Stebbing Way, 9100 block, 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 7. A flat-screen TV, a tablet computer and a purse were stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Washington Ave., 9400 block, 11:09 a.m. Feb. 11. A rental truck was stolen.

WEST FRIENDSHIP AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Pfefferkorn Rd., 2500 block, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 11. A safe containing cash, documents and costume jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.
