BROOKLYN PARK AREA
ROBBERIES

Ritchie Hwy., 7:32 p.m. March 4. A male grabbed a purse from a shopping cart outside a grocery store. The victim was knocked to the ground during the incident.

EDGEWATER AREA
ROBBERIES

Lee Airpark Dr., unit block, 9:37 p.m. March 5. Two male teenagers entered a cellphone store at closing time, threatened an employee and fled with cellphones and cash.

LINTHICUM AREA
ROBBERIES

Camp Meade Rd. S., 400 block, 10:42 p.m. March 5. A man reached over a counter at a convenience store and tried to take cash from the cash register, then fled in a vehicle, which was stopped a short distance away. A Severn man, 50, was arrested on charges that included attempted robbery.

PASADENA AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Colony Rd., 1600 block, 7:28 p.m. March 4. Two people broke into an acquaintance’s home. A woman, 22, of no fixed address was arrested at the scene. A Berlin man, 27, was arrested in a wooded area near Bayside Beach Drive. He was charged with burglary, theft, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Arundel Pl., 700 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 28 to 8 a.m. March 1. Cash and a laptop computer were among property stolen from three unlocked vehicles.

Belle Drive near Brightwater Drive, 8:30 p.m. March 1 to 8:30 a.m. March 2. A car stereo, an amplifier and a speaker were stolen from a vehicle entered by force. The vehicle’s tires, windshield and paint-finish were damaged in the incident.

Cherry Grove Ave. S., 400 block, 1 to 1:30 a.m. March 6. An attempt was made to break into a shed by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Conduit St., 100 block, 11:59 p.m. March 1 to 12:30 a.m. March 2. An attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

Hillsmere Dr., 100 block, 5:15 to 5:40 p.m. March 1. A child’s BMX-style bike was stolen from a bike rack on a vehicle.

Hilltop Lane, 200 block, 9 p.m. March 2 to 10 a.m. March 3. A wheel and tire were stolen from a vehicle.

Shipwright St., unit block, 4 p.m. Feb. 27 to 11:30 a.m. March 1. An outside mirror was stolen from a vehicle.

Stonecreek Rd., 1300 block, 11 p.m. Feb. 28 to 7 a.m. March 1. A laptop computer, a cellphone, headphones, a backpack and credit cards were among property stolen from a vehicle.

Tyler Ave., 1400 block, 10:15 p.m. March 1. An occupied residence was entered by kicking in the front door. The intruder fled empty-handed when confronted.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Chesapeake Ave., 800 block, 7 p.m. Feb. 27 to 7:45 a.m. Feb. 28. A laptop computer, a cellphone and credit cards were among property stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Danielle Ct., unit block, 7:30 a.m. March 2 to 7:30 a.m. March 3. A green 2008 Lexus SUV was stolen from a driveway at a residence. The victim said that a key to the vehicle had been missing since Feb. 25.

Madison St., 1000 block, 11:45 a.m. to noon March 6. A 1997 Honda Prelude was stolen using a key that had been left inside. It was abandoned a short time later on an off-road trail in the 1200 block of Madison Street.

CLARKSVILLE AREA
ROBBERIES

Cherry Tree Drive and Oakcrest Lane, 8:19 p.m. March 1. Two men threatened and robbed an acquaintance in a vehicle they were all sitting in. An Ellicott City man, 21, and a Cumberland man, 22, were arrested on charges that included robbery, assault, theft and false imprisonment. No serious injuries were reported.

COLUMBIA AREA
ROBBERIES

Guilford Rd., 8800 block, 9:13 a.m. Feb. 28. Two students threatened a student at a high school and robbed him of a wallet.

Sewells Orchard Dr., 6700 block, 10:43 p.m. March 1. Four male teenagers who had hailed a cab at Owen Brown Village Center demanded property from the driver at gunpoint when they reached this location. When the driver crashed the taxi into a tree, the passengers fled empty-handed. No serious injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Carlinda Ave., 6500 block, 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 1. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a basement door.

Hesperus Dr., 5400 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 26 to 2 p.m. March 2. An attempt was made to enter a location by forcing a back door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Good Lion Rd, 9400 block, 8:11 a.m. March 6. A silver 1996 Honda Civic was stolen.

ELKRIDGE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Singers Way, 7400 block, and Hearthside Way, 7500 block, 3:45 p.m. March 1 to 7 a.m. March 4. Copper piping and fittings were stolen from several townhouses under construction. Copper sprinkler systems in several of the units were damaged in the incident.

Old Waterloo Rd., 6500 block, 8 p.m. March 3 to 8:30 a.m. March 4. An attempt was made to enter a liquor store by breaking glass in a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Dorsey Run Rd., 7100 block, Feb. 28 to March 1. A gray 2000 Nissan Maxima was stolen.

ROBBERIES

Normandy Woods Dr., 3200 block, 1:26 a.m. March 2. Two males gave a ride to a pedestrian, then threatened him and robbed him of cash after they arrived at the victim’s home.

Old Stockbridge Rd. and Village Dr., 9:34 p.m. March 6. A male armed with a gun got out of a vehicle being driven by an accomplice and robbed a pedestrian of his cellphone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Burgess Mill Way, 3100 block, 3:30 p.m. Feb. 28 to 7:15 a.m. March 1. Power tools were stolen from a metal storage box entered by cutting off the lock.

Burgess Mill Way, 3100 block, 11 a.m. March 2 to 11 a.m. March 4. Copper was stolen from three buildings under construction entered by breaching a 10-foot chain-link fence.

John Eager Ct., 10300 block, 7:11 p.m. March 2. A residence was entered by breaking glass in a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

West Springs Dr., 3100 block, 9 p.m. March 5 to 7 a.m. March 6. A Baja motorcycle was stolen.

Highland Rd., 13500 block, 9:53 a.m. March 1. An attempt was made to enter a garage by forcing a door.

Barkwood Ct., 8300 block, 7:36 a.m. March 5. A man entered a residence and was detained by occupants. An Ellicott City man, 32, was charged with fourth-degree burglary.

Jenmar Rd., 8000 block, March 1 to March 3. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a door.

Preston Ct., 8200 block, 10 p.m. March 1 to 5:45 a.m. March 2. Cash was stolen from a cash register at a diner entered by breaking a front window.

Preston Ct., 8200 block, 1:31 a.m. March 4. A tip jar containing coins was stolen from a diner entered by breaking a front window.

Preston Ct., 8200 block, 9:04 p.m. March 6. A container of strawberry milk and candy bars were stolen from a diner entered by breaking a front window.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Covered Wagon, 9600 block, 2:30 to 11:30 p.m. March 1. An attempt was made to kick in a door at an apartment.

Washington Blvd., 9900 block, 5:26 a.m. March 1. Cash was stolen from a gaming terminal at a bar entered by breaking a window with a chair.

Washington Blvd., 9900 block, 4:50 a.m. March 1. An attempt was made to enter a bar by breaking a window with an iron umbrella-stand.
