DAVIDSONVILLE AREA
HOMICIDE

Royale Glen Ct., 3300 block, 11:29 a.m. March 22. The bodies of a woman identified as Nicole C. Burgess, 37, of Davidonsville and a pit bull mix were found in a residence. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore determined that both were stabbed to death. An investigation was continuing.

GLEN BURNIE AREA
WEAPONS

Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., 7500 block, noon April 2. A 15-year-old student brought a handgun to school. He was stopped by a school employee. The gun was confiscated and the student was charged as a juvenile with weapons violations.

ASSAULTS

Ritchie Hwy., 7300 block, 12:09 a.m. March 31. A man stabbed another man in the upper body after leaving a bar and seeing the other man near his motorcycle, saying the other man had damaged it. He drove away and shortly thereafter wrecked his motorcycle near Birch and Magnolia avenues. A weapon was recovered from the scene. A 45-year-old Glen Burnie man was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and driving while intoxicated. The man who was stabbed was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

LINTHICUM AREA
ROBBERIES

Andover Rd., 10200 block, 2:19 p.m. March 29. A gunman approached a couple loading items into their vehicle at a hotel. The couple ran back inside and the gunman fled on foot with personal items left near the vehicle.

Annapolis

ROBBERIES

Belle Ct., 1-99 block, 6:45 p.m. March 30. A male passenger attempted to rob a driver and another passenger in a vehicle with an airsoft pistol. He fled on foot after a brief struggle with the other passenger.

Bywater Rd. and Belle Dr., 10:45 p.m. April 2. Two men wearing ski masks robbed two men at gunpoint on the street. Cash, keys and a cellphone were taken.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fairfax Rd., 1900 block; Silopanna Rd., 100 block; and Shipwright St., 1-99 block; 4 p.m. March 22 to 8:30 a.m. March 29. Several vehicles were entered. Nothing was reported missing.

Forest Dr., 1600 block, 3 p.m. March 28 to 7:45 a.m. April 2. Power tools, hand tools and a 10-foot aluminum siding brake were stolen from a home under construction entered by forcing open a door.

Homewood Lane, 1300 block, 3:45 p.m. March 29 to 9 a.m. March 30. Cash and a digital media player were stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Margaret Ave., 1700 block, 6:30 p.m. March 26 to 7 a.m. March 27. A business was entered by kicking in a side door, and an office was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

Madison St., 1100 block, 9:30 p.m. March 25 to 3:30 a.m. April 1. A TV, video game consoles and games, a book bag and a cooler bag were stolen from an apartment. Entry may have been gained through an unlocked window.

S. Southwood Ave., 100 block, 6 p.m. March 5 to 8 a.m. March 8. A Global Positioning System device and a digital camera were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Sterling Cir., 1200 block, 3:30 to 3:45 a.m. March 26. A TV was stolen from a home entered by breaking a window.

Tyler Ave., 1400 block, 4:30 to 4:40 a.m. March 28. The front door of a community center was forced open, setting off an alarm. Nothing was reported missing.

Wagner St., 1-99 block, 6:30 p.m. March 28 to 9 a.m. March 29. Sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Wood Dr., 100 block, 12:15 to 10:15 a.m. March 31. A purse was stolen from a vehicle entered by smashing a front passenger window. A car radio and tools were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Henkels Lane, 8900 block, 3:26 a.m. April 1. An attempt was made to enter a tool business by attaching a chain from the bumper of a stolen van to the front door of the business. That failed, so the driver backed the van into the door. An alarm was triggered. Several display tools were stolen. The van was left running with a door open.

COLUMBIA AREA
ROBBERIES

Broken Land Pkwy. and Stevens Forest Rd., 1:30 a.m. March 29. A driver was assaulted and bound with duct tape by two masked men who approached him in his car and forced him into the back seat at gunpoint. One of the robbers drove the car to an ATM, where the victim was forced to withdraw a large amount of cash. They then taped over his eyes and fled with his wallet and cellphone. The man was able to free himself and returned home before calling the police.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Carriage Hills Dr., 8700 block, April 1 to April 3. A landscaping rock was thrown through a basement window at a residence. Entry was not gained.

Columbia Rd., 5300 block, 2:40 p.m. March 29 to 12:36 p.m. April 1. A laptop computer was stolen from a home entered by breaking a glass door with rocks.

Copperwood Way, 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. April 2. A handbag was stolen from a home entered by prying open a basement window while a resident was sleeping.

Copperwood Way, 7000 block, 9 to 11:45 p.m. April 4. A bike was stolen from a home entered by prying open a basement window.

Farbell Row, 5 to 9 p.m. March 30. A home was entered by prying open a rear window, and a rear sliding door was left open. Nothing was reported missing.

Green Mountain Cir., 10000 block, 1:31 p.m. April 2. Jewelry was stolen from a home entered by smashing the glass in a door.

Morningbird Lane, 5800 block, 1 to 1:30 p.m. March 31. A bike and a mountain bike were stolen from a fenced backyard.

Tricross Dr., 5600 block, 4 p.m. March 31 to 12:12 a.m. April 2. Shotguns, rifles and ammunition were stolen from a house entered by forcing a door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Eden Brook Dr., 7100 block, March 12 to April 3. A burgundy 1999 Acura coupe was stolen.

Quiet Hours, 6500 block, 7:53 a.m. March 27. A gold 1998 Nissan Sentra was stolen after it was left running. It was recovered on Knighthood Lane.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Linthicum Rd., 4400 block, 8 a.m. March 16 to 12:30 p.m. March 28. A motorcycle, a mountain bike and a chain saw were stolen from an unlocked shed.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Autumn Spell, 5900 block, April 2 to April 3. A silver Honda Accord was stolen overnight.

Spreading Oak Lane, 7600 block, 11 p.m. April 1 to 6 a.m. April 2. A gray 2009 Acura was stolen.

ELLICOTT CITY AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bonnie Branch and Ilchester roads, 4 p.m. March 29 to 7 a.m. April 1. Machinery was vandalized with spray paint in an abandoned building scheduled for demolition. Nothing was reported missing.

Briarcliffe Lane, 9700 block, 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 1. Jewelry and a handgun were stolen from a home entered by forcing a garage door and entering an unlocked interior door.

Plumtree Dr., 3400 block, 10:30 a.m. March 30 to 9 a.m. April 1. An attempt was made to enter a vacant apartment by picking a deadbolt lock on a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Dorsey Run Rd., 7900 block, March 29 to March 30. A gold Ford F-350 was stolen from a dealership.

Dorsey Run Rd., 7100 block, 5:41 p.m. March 26. A gold 2002 Buick Century was stolen from an auction lot.

LAUREL AREA
ROBBERIES

Glen Hannah Dr., 10600 block, 2:50 a.m. March 29. Three masked people forced their way into a home when a resident was entering and robbed him of a wallet, cellphone and laptop computer. One person hit the resident in the head with a gun.

Phelps Luck Dr. and High Tor Hill, 8:51 p.m. March 29. A male was robbed on a foot path.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Garnet Rock Gate, 8600 block, 11 p.m. March 20 to 8 a.m. March 30. A purse was stolen from a kitchen counter at a home entered through an unlocked garage door.

Stone Landing Path, 8600 block, 1:43 p.m. March 30. A person tried to pry open the front window of a residence with a screwdriver but was scared away by the homeowner.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Mayflower Ct., 9400 block, March 28 to March 29. A black 1997 Honda Civic was stolen.

Ruth Ave., 1-99 block, 7:46 p.m. March 30. A blue 1999 BMW was stolen.

Washington Blvd., 6 to 7:03 a.m. April 3. A black Nissan Altima was stolen.

SAVAGE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Baltimore St., 8700 block, 9:01 a.m. March 30. Tools and a bike were stolen from a shed. An attempt was made to remove a radio from a vehicle.

WOODBINE AREA
ROBBERIES

Old Annapolis Rd., 9200 block, 1 a.m. March 30. A pizza restaurant employee making a money drop was robbed by two masked males armed with a knife or stick.
