CROWNSVILLE AREA
ASSAULTS

Crownsville Rd., 1500 block, 5:45 p.m. April 8. A man assaulted his roommate with a hunting knife during an argument at their residence. A Crownsville man, 38, was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and other charges. The other man sustained a minor cut on his forearm and refused medical treatment.

GLEN BURNIE AREA
ROBBERIES

Budding Branch Rd., 8000 block, 11:41 p.m. April 5. Three males wearing ski masks robbed a boy of a cellphone and pushed him to the ground. The boy sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

Crain Hwy., 1200 block, 6:16 a.m. April 10. A gunman confronted a restaurant employee. The employee took the gun and hit him with it repeatedly.

LINTHICUM AREA
ASSAULTS

Minta Ct., 200 block, 10:20 p.m. April 8. A woman assaulted another woman inside a residence, then stabbed the other woman’s boyfriend in the upper torso when he tried to intervene. The man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. A Severn woman, 25, was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

MILLERSVILLE AREA
WEAPONS

Patriot Lane, 600 block, 8:50 a.m. April 10. Two male teenagers entered a school in which they were not enrolled. A school resource officer confiscated three knives from the older male. A 14-year-old was charged as a juvenile with trespassing on school property and trespassing on posted property. A Baltimore man, 18, received similar charges, as well as two weapons violations.

SEVERN AREA
ROBBERIES

Annapolis Rd., 2600 block, 11:44 p.m. April 7. Three armed males wearing masks robbed a pizza restaurant of cash and fled on foot.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Belvedere and Landings Courts, 1-99 block, 2:30 to 4:30 a.m. April 6. Three unlocked vehicles were entered. Cash was taken from one.

Croll Dr., 200 block, 6 to 11 p.m. April 3. A digital media player, prescription medication, a money order and a gold wedding ring were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Green St., 100 block, 8:30 p.m. April 5. Two people were seen stealing copper pipes from a construction site. A Hyattsville man, 29, and a Hyattsville boy, 11, were charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary and theft. The boy was released to his parents.

Gross Ave., 200 block, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 6. A laptop computer was stolen from a home entered through an unlocked garage door.

Fairview Ave., 700 block, 3 to 9 p.m. April 6. An apartment door and lock were damaged when an attempt was made to force the door open. Entry was not gained.

Forest Dr., 2000 block, 8:30 to 8:45 p.m. April 6. A bike left unlocked in front of a business was stolen.

Homewood Lane, 1300 block, 9:30 p.m. April 4 to 8 a.m. April 5. A vehicle was ransacked after entry was gained by breaking a driver’s side window.

Maryland Ave., 1-99 block, 5 to 6 p.m. April 3. Sterling silver flatware and a carved wooden sculpture were stolen from a shop, possibly while an employee was distracted.

Rogers Heights Rd., 300 block, 7 p.m. April 5 to 8 a.m. April 6. A mountain bike was stolen. Police found it locked to a light pole at Admiral Drive and West Street.

Sherwood Rd., 1-99 block; Westwood Rd., 200 block; Wardour Dr., 200 block; and Scott Dr., 100 block, 11:30 p.m. April 5. A man was seen in a vehicle and admitted to entering at least six vehicles in the area. An Annapolis man, 21, was arrested and charged with two counts of rogue and vagabond, two counts of theft, fourth-degree burglary and trespassing.

Spa Creek Landing, 1-99 block, 5 p.m. April 3 to 9 a.m. April 4. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A second vehicle also was entered.

Virginia St., 1200 block, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 5. A girl’s mountain bike was stolen from a front porch.

Wardour Dr., 1-99 block, 6 a.m. April 6 to 9:15 a.m. April 8. Cash and paperwork were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Admiral Dr., 200 block, 4 p.m. April 6 to noon April 7. A white 2000 Cadillac DeVille was stolen. It was recovered at 10:30 p.m. on April 7.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Junction Dr., 9000 block, 4:54 a.m. April 8. An attempt was made to steal a white Freightliner truck. A juvenile was arrested.

Daylong Lane, 6100 block, 11:29 a.m. April 6. A gold 2005 Toyota Camry was stolen. A juvenile was arrested.

COLUMBIA AREA
ROBBERIES

Columbia 100 Pkwy., 8800 block, 5:14 a.m. April 6. A gunman robbed a hotel of cash from a safe and took property from two employees.

Flowerstock Row, 8800 block, 11:02 p.m. April 10. A male drove two male acquaintances to a gas station, where the passengers got out and talked to occupants of another vehicle. The occupants of the second vehicle assaulted and robbed the driver of the first car, taking cash, keys, a cellphone and a wallet, and fleeing with his two passengers.

Old Tucker Row, 5300 block, 8:29 p.m. April 10. Two males arranged to meet an acquaintance in a parking lot. They were met by four males; one got into the back seat of their vehicle, demanded cash and grabbed the driver from behind. The four fled after a struggle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Copperwood Way, 7000 block, 3:18 to 3:36 a.m. April 4. A home was entered through a basement window. Nothing was reported stolen.

Copperwood Way, 7000 block, 7 a.m. April 2 to 7 p.m. April 4. A home was entered by forcing open a basement window. A bike was stolen and recovered nearby.

Hickory Ridge Rd., 10700 block, April 7 to April 10. Cash and a video camera were stolen from a church entered through an unlocked door.

Owen Brown Rd., 9800 block, March 21 to 2:29 p.m. April 6. A door frame and a deadbolt lock were damaged at a residence. Entry was not gained. Nothing was reported stolen.

Swiftstream Pl., 10300 block, 5 p.m. to 11:33 p.m. April 4. Two video games and three pieces of luggage were stolen from a home entered through a rear sliding door.

Tricross Dr., 5600 block, 12:01 p.m. April 1 to 11:59 p.m. April 5. A home was entered through a basement door. An electric meter was smashed and a pipe was damaged. A fishing pole was stolen from the front porch.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Hastings Dr., 9600 block, 2:31 p.m. April 8. A black 2003 Acura RSX was stolen.

Jericho Rd., 5000 block, 10 p.m. April 9 to 9:06 a.m. April 10. A 2007 Dodge Charger was stolen.

ELKRIDGE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Keeton Rd., 8000 block, 12:17 a.m. April 5. TVs, a safe, video game systems and games were stolen from a home entered through an unlocked back door.

Pirch Way, 6700 block, 3 to 3:45 p.m. April 8. The front door of a mobile home was pried in an attempt to gain entry.

Tufts Dr., 8500 block, 10:25 p.m. April 4. An intoxicated man attempted to kick in a neighbor’s front door and broke the window of his own truck. An Elkridge man, 36, was arrested and charged with first- and fourth-degree burglary and second-degree assault.

Washington Blvd., 5800 block, 2:55 a.m. April 6. A bike shop was entered by climbing a ladder and breaking a window with a cinder block. Glass in a side door to a neighboring business was also broken. Nothing was reported stolen.

ELLICOTT CITY AREA
ROBBERIES

Town and Country Blvd., 8700 block, 11 p.m. April 9. Two males robbed a pizza delivery driver of food on a path to a building.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Centennial Lane, 4300 block, 4:34 p.m. April 6. A male was discovered hiding in a laundry hamper in a recently vacated room. A Severn man, 23, was charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing.

Rogers Ave., 3600 block, 8 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. April 4. A TV was stolen from a home entered by forcing a basement door.

Town and Country, 9000 block, 10:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. April 5. A deadbolt lock was tampered with at a residence.

West Springs Dr., 3100 block, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 5. Jewelry and cash were stolen from a home. There was no sign of forced entry.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Falls Run Rd., 8500 block, 6:21 a.m. April 5. A red 2000 Honda Civic was stolen. It was recovered on a ramp from Route 100 to Interstate 95.

HIGHLAND AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Castlebay Ct., 6500 block, midnight Jan. 5 to 5:44 p.m. April 5. Sterling silver place settings and jewelry were stolen from a home entered by prying open a rear door.

JESSUP AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Rosewood Way, 8900 block, 3 to 3:30 a.m. April 6. A residential front door was cracked during an attempted break-in.

LAUREL AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

All Saints Rd., 9200 block, 12:30 to 5 a.m. April 5. A panel was pried off a back wall in an attempt to gain entry to a gas station.

Washington Blvd., 10100 block, 2 to 11 a.m. April 7. Glass in a front door was broken at a bazaar.

Washington Blvd., 9300 block, 12:26 a.m. April 9. Scrap brake rotors might have been stolen from a business yard entered by cutting a hole in a fence.

Washington Blvd., 9400 block, 7 p.m. April 5 to 7 p.m. April 8. Tractor tires and rims were stolen from an unlocked storage trailer. A lock was broken off a second trailer.
