LAUREL AREA
ROBBERY

Corridor Market Pl., 3300 block, 3:05 p.m. June 5. A gunman robbed a woman of her purse as she was loading shopping bags into her car. He then entered her car with another male and drove away. The woman was not injured.

LOTHIAN AREA
SHOOTING

Burton River Rd., 1300 block, 3:50 a.m. June 5. A man shot a sleeping acquaintance in the buttocks as a prank while both were guests in a home. The gun he used belonged to the homeowner’s son, who was determined not to have been involved. The man who was shot was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. An Ashland, Va., man, 22, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

SHOOTING

Tyler Ave., 1400 block, 11 p.m. May 30. A man was shot in the foot while standing outside. He was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

ASSAULT

Madison St., 1100 block, 1 a.m. June 2. Two males approached a man as he exited an apartment. One shot him twice in the buttocks and fled on foot with the other male. The man was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bay Ridge Ave., 900 block, midnight to 3 a.m. June 5. A change drawer was stolen from a business entered by prying open a side door.

Bowman Dr., 1800 block, 1 to 11 a.m. June 4. A bicycle was stolen from behind a residence.

Crisfield Way, 700 block, 9 p.m. May 29 to 8 a.m. May 30. Cash and sunglasses were stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Fox Hollow Lane, 400 block, 3 a.m. June 1. A witness yelled at three males entering an unlocked vehicle. They fled, leaving behind a bicycle and a pair of sunglasses.

Fox Hollow Lane, 400 block, 9:30 p.m. May 31 to 11 a.m. June 1. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Hawkins Lane, 1300 block, 7:30 p.m. May 29 to 10 a.m. May 30. The center console of an unlocked vehicle was rummaged through and gas was siphoned from the vehicle’s tank.

Ashford Court, 1-99 block; Riding Ridge Rd., 300 block; and Carriage Run Rd., 1-99 block, midnight to 9 a.m. June 1. Several unlocked vehicles in Hunt Meadow were entered overnight. Items taken included cash, gift cards and sunglasses.

McKendree Ave. near Virginia Ave., 3:30 a.m. May 30. Two people were seen looking into vehicles. One person threw a stolen GPS device as he fled. A Glen Burnie man, 18, and an Annapolis man, 18, were arrested and charged with two counts of theft and rogue and vagabond.

Primrose Ct., 900 block, midnight to 1:30 p.m. June 3. A GPS device and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Pump House Rd., 1:30 p.m. May 24 to 9:30 a.m. May 28. Doors to a storage garage and shed were damaged. Nothing was reported missing.

Riding Ridge Rd., 300 block, 4 p.m. June 1 to 6 a.m. June 3. A GPS device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Sandstone Ct., 1-99 block, 1 p.m. June 1 to 9 p.m. June 2. Power tools, two tanks of Freon, electronic scales and a flange tool were stolen from a work truck entered by prying open cargo doors.

Skippers Ct., 1-99 block, 8 p.m. June 2 to 8:30 a.m. June 3. Three gold rings and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Southgate Ave., 1-99 block, 3:40 a.m. June 1. A police officer noticed a vehicle with its interior lights on. The vehicle was unlocked and the glove box and center console were open. The owner was contacted and said nothing had been stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Boxwood Rd., 1-99 block, midnight June 1 to 12:30 p.m. June 2. A silver 2001 Honda Civic was stolen.

Glenwood St., 700 block, 1:30 a.m. June 1. A tan 2011 Pico scooter was stolen from a parking lot by two males. A second scooter in the lot was tampered with.

COLUMBIA AREA
ROBBERY

Columbia Rd., 5700 block, 2:34 a.m. May 31. A masked gunman entered a convenience store and forced an employee to fill a bag with cash from the registers.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Clearsmoke Ct., 6100 block, 1:30 p.m. May 30. An electronic gaming system was stolen from a home entered through an open window. A male, 15, was arrested.

Columbia Rd., 5400 block, 3 to 9:20 a.m. June 2. An apartment door was discovered open while residents were not home.

Columbia Rd., 5300 block, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 31. An external hard drive and cash were stolen from a home. There was no sign of forced entry. The resident noticed the front door deadbolt was unlocked when she came home, although she had locked it on her way out.

Green Meadow Dr., 12200 block, 7:20 p.m. June 5. Two males were seen breaking into a home with a crowbar at the front door. Police arrived and saw pry marks on the door.

Nightshade Ct., 5300 block, 5:33 a.m. June 2. A resident saw a male in his open garage, peering into his van. The intruder fled when the resident yelled. Nothing was reported missing.

Phillip Dorsey Way, 9000 block, 3:34 p.m. June 3. A grill was stolen from a back deck.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

Talisman Lane, 7100 block, 1:15 a.m. June 4. A 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser was stolen.

ELKRIDGE AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Business Pkwy., 6700 block, 10 a.m. June 1. Four feet of copper wire was stolen from a substation entered by cutting a perimeter fence.

ELLICOTT CITY AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

High Ridge Rd., 8500 block, 4 p.m. June 2 to 11 a.m. June 3. An attempt was made to pull two air-conditioning units out of classroom windows at an arts center.

High Ridge Rd., 8500 block, 5 p.m .June 2 to 1:16 p.m. June 3. Copper pipes were cut out of a vacant home, resulting in flooding. The home may have been entered through an unlocked front or basement door.

Ilchester Rd., 4700 block, 4 p.m. May 24 to 11 a.m. May 30. A vehicle rammed into a church garage door, possibly to gain entry.

Tiber Falls, 4000 block, 8:30 p.m. May 31 to 10 a.m. June 1. Two bicycles were stolen from an open garage.

GLENELG AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Triadelphia Rd., 14800 block, 7:30 p.m. May 29 to 6:45 a.m. May 30. Chain saws, hand tools and a generator were stolen from a storage shed entered by breaking a padlock.

Triadelphia Rd., 14800 block, 9 p.m. May 31 to 7:30 a.m. June 1. A Yamaha four-wheeler, a log splitter and a chain saw were stolen from a shed. There was no sign of forced entry.

HIGHLAND AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Browns Bridge Rd., 7800 block, 4 to 7:20 a.m. June 2. A TV was stolen from a home.

JESSUP AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Iron Bridge Rd., 10600 block, 5:56 p.m. June 3. Equipment and speakers were stolen from a hospitality company entered by forcing open a front door.

Peachwood Dr., 8300 block, 7:12 p.m. June 4. A group of juveniles broke into a vacant mobile home through an unlocked window. Five juveniles were arrested and charged with burglary.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

Preston Ct., 8200 block, 5:33 a.m. June 3. A 2002 International truck was stolen.

LAUREL AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Moonshine Hollow, 9000 block, 7 p.m. May 30 to 5 p.m. May 31. Firearms were stolen from an apartment. There was no sign of forced entry.

MOUNT AIRY AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Old Frederick Rd., 15600 block, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. May 29. Jewelry was stolen from a home entered through a window.

WOODSTOCK AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Folkestone, 10700 block, 8:44 p.m. June 1. A man entered a home through an unlocked front door and stumbled up the stairs, knocking pictures off the wall. Two residents exited through a back door. A Gwynn Oak man, 18, was arrested and charged with burglary and disorderly conduct.
