Laurel Wreath Way, 6 p.m. May 2 to 9:30 a.m. May 3. A laptop and a video game console were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

Stevens Forest Rd., 5800 block, 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 8. Laptops and video game consoles were stolen from a residence entered through a balcony door.

Stevens Forest Rd., 5700 block, April 27 to May 8. A TV and video game consoles were stolen from a residence entered through a sliding-glass door.

Watch Chain Way, 5900 block, 12:43 p.m. May 5. A residence was entered through a second-floor bedroom window. A Columbia man, 34, was charged with first- and fourth-degree burglary.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Black Velvet Lane, 9400 block, 6:49 a.m. May 7. A silver 2004 Honda Pilot was stolen.

Brook Way, 5300 block, 9 p.m. May 1 to 9:21 a.m. May 2. A silver 2007 Honda motorcycle was stolen.

Harpers Farm Rd. and Turnabout Lane, 4:09 a.m. May 3. A 2006 Honda truck that had been stolen from Basket Ring Road was recovered. Several juveniles were arrested.

ELKRIDGE AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Augustine Ave., 6000 block, 4 p.m. May 2 to 2 p.m. May 3. Power equipment was stolen from a shed entered by cutting a lock.

Old Lawyers Hill Rd., 6000 block, 5 p.m. May 4 to 7:30 a.m. May 7. A TV and tools were stolen from an unlocked house under construction.

Washington Blvd., 7500 block, 11:58 p.m. May 8. A teal 2002 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Main St., 8300 block, 4 p.m. May 5. A man exposed himself in a garden. An Ellicott City man, 35, was charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Avoca Ave., 4800 block, 3:21 p.m. May 7. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through a rear window.

Hillsborough Rd., 8000 block, 1:29 p.m. May 8. Property including cash was in a safe stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front window.

Holly Springs Ct., 2500 block, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 7. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing the front door.

Jay Ct., 3400 block, 3:30 p.m. May 10. A bottle of juice was stolen from a garage entered by removing a screen from an unlocked window. A suspect has been identified.

Main St., 8100 block, 1:09 a.m. May 6. An attempt was made to break into a residence by removing a window screen.

Oak Green Ct., 3000 block, 4:30 to 4:40 a.m. May 5. A man tried to enter an occupied residence with a key. The intruder fled empty-handed when confronted.

Riverside Cir., 9700 block, 5 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 8. A residence was entered through a garage. Nothing was reported missing.

Valley View Overlook, 4900 block, 8:38 p.m. May 7. Jewelry and a purse were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Reservoir Rd., 8300 block, 1:38 a.m. May 4. An attempt was made to break into a residence. An acquaintance of an occupant is suspected.

Prestwick Dr., 6600 block, 1 to 3:45 p.m. May 10. Jewelry and a digital media player were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked kitchen window.

Jack Lane, 8000 block, 6 to 9:30 p.m. May 10. Jewelry was stolen from a mobile home entered by forcing the front door.

Washington Blvd., 8800 block, 2:58 a.m. May 10. A purse was stolen from an occupied residence.

Wye Ave., 7200 block, 7:13 p.m. May 6. Two dirt bikes were stolen from a residence. They were recovered a short distance away.

Laurel Rd. N., 9500 block, 1:09 a.m. May 4. An attempt was made to break into a business by breaking glass in the front door. Nothing was reported missing.

Stebbing Way, 9100 block, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 3. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a porch door. Nothing was reported missing.
