Edgewood Rd., 7000 block, 2 p.m. Aug. 17 to noon Aug. 20. Two motors were stolen from a boat.

Forbes St., 200 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 13 to 7:30 a.m. Aug. 14. Two laptop computers, checks and cash were stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.

Georgetown Ct., 100 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 9 to noon Aug. 10. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle. It was recovered at 8 p.m. Aug. 10 on Edgewood Road near Tallwood Road. Cash was missing.

Hunt Meadow Dr., 1700 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 15 to 4 a.m. Aug. 16. Two bicycles were stolen from a front porch.

Linden Ave., 300 block, 9 to 10 a.m. Aug. 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

Main St., 100 block, Aug. 21. A cellphone was stolen. An Annapolis man, 48, was arrested. The property was recovered.

Old Solomons Island Rd., unit block, 5 p.m. Aug. 10 to 8 a.m. Aug. 13. Three laptop computers were stolen from a business. There was no sign of forced entry.

Randall St., unit block, 10 p.m. Aug. 15 to 8 a.m. Aug. 16. A mountain bike was stolen from a front porch.

Riverview Ave., 300 block, 10 a.m. Aug. 9 to 9 a.m. Aug. 10. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Royal St., 900 block, noon to 8 p.m. Aug. 3. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by kicking the front door.

West St., 900 block, noon Aug. 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 10. A mountain bike was stolen from a side yard of a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Newtowne Dr. near Juiliana Cir., 8 p.m. Aug. 13 to 9 a.m. Aug. 14. A black 2006 Ford flatbed tow truck was stolen.

Wellington Pl., unit block, 5 p.m Aug. 11 to 10 a.m. Aug. 13. A 1987, red-and-black, Yamaha all-terrain vehicle was stolen from the back yard of a residence. The vehicle was recovered in the 1200 block of Madison Street.

CLARKSVILLE AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Clarksville Pike, 12400 block, 5:15 a.m. Aug. 16. A male wearing a mask entered a liquor store by breaking glass in a front door, then tried unsuccessfully to break into a safe. The male then broke glass in the front door of a pizza restaurant, where he kicked open an office door. He fled empty-handed.

COLUMBIA AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bucksaw Ct., 5400 block, 10:30 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. Aug. 16. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a sliding-glass door.

Cardinal Lane, 6200 block, noon Aug. 17 to 6 p.m. Aug. 19. A safe containing cash and jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by smashing a sliding-glass door with a rock. The safe had been bolted to the floor.

Quarterstaff Rd., 10600 block, 6:05 a.m. Aug. 16. A purse and a wallet were stolen from a residence entered through an open garage.

Silver Arrows Way, 6100 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 17 to 9 a.m. Aug. 18. A townhouse was entered through a sliding-glass door to a deck. Property was moved, but nothing was reported missing.

Stebbing Way, 9000 block, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 19. A watch and two jars of coins were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a sliding-glass door with a landscape rock.
