Tamebird Ct., 8800 block, 9:49 p.m. Aug. 20. Clothes, shoes and a video game system were stolen from a residence entered through a rear window.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Berger Rd., 9500 block, 7:24 a.m. Aug. 16. A 20-foot construction trailer was stolen.

Dobbin Rd., 6300 block, 12:24 p.m. Aug. 19. A 2012 Dodge Charger was stolen.

Stevens Forest Rd., 5700 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 19 to 6:45 a.m. Aug. 20. Attempts were made to steal a 2005 Kia Spectra and a 2003 Nissan Sentra by tampering with the ignitions. Property was stolen from both vehicles.

Dorsey Run Rd., 7100 block, 2:26 p.m. Aug. 16. A black 2007 Honda Pilot was stolen.

Old Waterloo Rd., 6700 block, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 15 to 8:05 a.m. Aug. 16. A motorcycle was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Roscommon Dr., 3300 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 15 to 5 p.m. Aug. 17. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing the front door. Nothing was reported missing.

Roscommon Dr., 3300 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 9 to Aug. 17. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a basement door.

LAUREL AREA

ROBBERIES

Barrel House Rd., 9600 block, 3:30 p.m. Aug. 19. Three males followed two people from a fast-food restaurant on All Saints Road, then threatened one of them and robbed him of a cellphone and a hat.

Stansfield Rd., 10200 block, 7:17 p.m. Aug. 20. A man gave a ride to a man he encountered outside a prayer meeting. While the vehicle was moving, the passenger showed a gun and announced a carjacking. The motorist wrested the weapon from the passenger, who then fled the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Canterbury Riding, 9300 block, 5 to 9 a.m. Aug. 19. A TV was stolen from a townhouse entered by cutting a screen of a side window.

Covered Wagon Dr., 9700 block, 8:15 a.m. to 3:47 p.m. Aug. 21. Coins and a bag of candy were stolen from an apartment entered through an unlocked window.

Thamesmeade Rd., 9100 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 17 to 4 p.m. Aug. 19. Two bicycles were stolen from an apartment complex’s locked storage room. A boy found riding one of them in the neighborhood said that he had found it on a footpath in a wooded area.

Bourbon St., 19100 block, 10:42 a.m. Aug. 16. A Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen.

Redbridge Ct., 9200 block, 3:08 p.m. Aug. 18. A blue 2007 Dodge was stolen.

Old Frederick Rd., 12400 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 14 to noon Aug. 16. Two off-road motorcycles were stolen from a trailer entered by cutting locks with bolt cutters.

Baltimore St., 8900 block, 4:49 a.m. Aug. 21. A restaurant was entered by kicking a side door. A drawer was removed from a cash register, but nothing was reported missing.

Frederick Rd., 12800 block, 4:33 a.m. Aug. 17. A pizza restaurant was entered by forcing a deadbolt on the front door. Nothing was reported missing.
