BROOKLYN PARK AREA

ROBBERIES

Ritchie Hwy., 5600 block, 5:03 a.m. Aug. 27. A male struck a pedestrian with an object, then fled with cash. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

GLEN BURNIE AREA

ROBBERIES

Ritchie Hwy., 6600 block, 12:06 p.m. Aug. 28. A man approached a woman and demanded her vehicle at gunpoint. She pushed him aside and ran away.

Bruton Dr., 7800 block, 6:24 p.m. Aug. 28. Two male teenagers threatened a male near a playground and demanded his wallet. During a struggle, a package of tobacco fell out of the victim’s pocket. One of the assailants grabbed the property, and they ran away. No injuries were reported.

HANOVER AREA

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Arundel Mills Cir., 7000 block, 6:06 p.m. Aug. 29. A woman misplaced her keys at a casino, then discovered that her vehicle was missing from the parking lot. The vehicle was located in the 200 block of Night Haven Court, Edgewater, near the victim’s residence. A 50-year-old Baltimore man carrying property from the home was arrested at the scene.

LAUREL AREA

ROBBERIES

Andrew Ct., 3400 block, 2:50 a.m. Aug. 25. Three males attacked a man in a parking lot and robbed him of a wallet and cellphone. The victim refused treatment for minor injuries.

Laurel-Fort Meade Rd., 3500 block, 7:43 p.m. Aug. 27. A man robbed a market of cash at gunpoint, then fled on foot.

PASADENA AREA

WEAPONS OFFENSES

205th St., 800 block, 2:42 a.m. Aug. 26. A house and two vehicles parked in a driveway were hit with multiple gunshots. A dark-blue Chevrolet Silverado was seen driving in the area at the time.

ROBBERIES

Brashears St., 2 a.m. Aug. 25. A man discovered his wallet, phone and keys were missing and believed he had been robbed. He also reported his vehicle missing from where he said he had parked it, near Second Street and Chester Avenue. At 4 a.m., the vehicle was recovered about a mile away, in the 1100 block of Frederick Douglass St.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Adams St., 300 block, 3 p.m. Aug. 23 to 10:15 a.m. Aug. 25. A crossbow was stolen from an unlocked shed.

Ashton Ct., 1200 block, 9:30 p.m. Aug. 24 to 5 a.m. Aug. 25. A TV and cash were stolen from an apartment entered through an unlocked rear window.

Bay Ridge Rd., 900 block, 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 26. A phone and a purse were among property stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Boucher Ave., 1000 block, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 to 7:30 a.m. Aug. 29. An air compressor was stolen from the bed of a pickup truck.

Calvert St. near West St., 10:45 p.m. Aug. 28 to 12:30 a.m. Aug. 29. A purse and two pairs of shoes were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window with a brick. The purse, missing some contents, was recovered in a nearby park.

Carrollton Ave., 900 block, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 22. A green Schwinn Avatar bike was stolen from the front yard of a residence.

Gibson Rd., 100 block, 12:30 to 8 a.m. Aug. 25. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

President St., 1100 block, 3 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 26. An attempt was made to enter a residence by removing a screen from a window. The screen was damaged, but nothing was reported missing.
