Cape St. Claire Rd., 1900 block, 9:50 a.m. Sept. 5. Two males demanded cash from a pedestrian at gunpoint. When he resisted, the victim was struck by one of the assailants, who then fled empty-handed in a dark-green vehicle. No serious injuries were reported.
GLEN BURNIE AREA
ROBBERIES
Furnace Branch Rd. W., 1600 block, 3:27 p.m. Aug. 30. A male who implied that he had a weapon robbed a convenience store and fled on foot.
Ritchie Hwy. and Aquahart Rd., 11:22 a.m. Sept. 5. A passenger in a vehicle demanded cash from the motorist, then robbed her after his actions forced her to stop. A Severna Park man, 36, was arrested on charges that included robbery.
Secluded Post Cir., 400 block, 10:49 p.m. Sept. 5. Two males attacked a woman walking near her residence and robbed her of property. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Fifth Ave. SW, 200 block, 10:35 p.m. Sept. 3. Two men forced their way into a residence and shot an occupant several times. A 42-year-old man was taken to Baltimore Shock Trauma, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries to his torso.

ASSAULTS
Hicks Ave. near Dorsey Ave., Sept. 1. A man who walked into Anne Arundel Medical Center with a gunshot wound told police that two men had approached him that morning and demanded cash, then shot him in the hand as he ran away. During their investigation into the incident, police arrested the 31-year-old Annapolis man on an outstanding warrant.
Madison St., 1100 block, 12:45 a.m. Sept. 1. A woman was brought to a hospital for treatment of stab wounds to her neck and a hand.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
Awald Rd., 900 block, noon Sept. 3 to 5 a.m. Sept. 4. An inflatable boat that had been tied to a larger watercraft was stolen from a slip.
Hammond Pl., 400 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 31 to 1 p.m. Sept. 1. A mountain bike was among property stolen from the back yard of a residence.
Margaret Ave., 1800 block, 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 29. A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Sandstone Ct., unit block, 7 p.m. Sept. 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 4. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a sliding-glass door. Nothing was reported missing.
School St., unit block, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 5. A light-blue Globe bicycle was stolen.
West St., 1900 block, 2:45 a.m. Aug. 31. A man was arrested as he tried to break into a vehicle in a parking lot. Two nearby vehicles also had been entered. An Annapolis man, 44, was charged with three counts of rogue and vagabond, trespassing and possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage.
