ARNOLD AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MacSherry Dr., 800 block, 11:03 a.m. Oct. 1. A man forced his way into an occupied residence, then fled when confronted. A Pasadena man, 34, was charged with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary.

EDGEWATER AREA

ROBBERIES

Central Ave., 100 block, 10:57 p.m. Sept. 27. A man robbed a convenience store at knifepoint, then fled on foot.

GLEN BURNIE AREA

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Georgia Ave. NW, 100 block, 11:55 a.m. Sept. 27. While searching a residence on a narcotics warrant, police found two pipe bombs, three black-powder pistols and equipment for making explosives. A Glen Burnie man, 51, was arrested on destructive-device manufacturing charges, possession of such devices with the intent to distribute, as well as several drug-related charges.

LAUREL AREA

ROBBERIES

Laurel-Fort Meade Rd., 3400 block, 11:11 p.m. Oct. 1. A male threatened a man in a motel parking lot and robbed him of a briefcase, then fled on foot.

MILLERSVILLE AREA

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Old Mill Road and Veterans Highway, 4:15 p.m. Sept. 28. Responding to a report of shots fired at a pedestrian, police tried to make a traffic stop. After a chase, the vehicle stopped, and two passengers fled to a wooded area. A short time later, a handgun was found in the area and three arrests were made. A Severn man, 23, was charged with a handgun violation and disorderly conduct. A Severn man, 22, was charged with handgun offenses. A Glen Burnie man, 29, was charged with traffic violations.

Annapolis

ROBBERIES

West St., 200 block, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 28. After a dispute with a store clerk over a transaction, a woman grabbed the cellphone that he was using to call police, then ran from the premises.

Truxton Park near Silopanna Road, 6:30 a.m. Sept. 30. A man snatched a purse from a woman walking on a footbridge.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Archwood Ave., 100 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 26 to 8 a.m. Sept. 27. A laptop computer, a camera lens, a bag and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked garage.

Bay Ridge Ave., 700 block, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 1. Two TVs, two laptop computers, a video game console, a cellphone and cuff links were among property stolen from a residence entered by removing an air-conditioning unit from a ground-floor window.

Bricin St., unit block, 3 to 9 p.m. Sept. 21. Two children’s bicycles were stolen from the porch of an apartment.

Bricin St., unit block, 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 2. An attempt was made to enter an apartment by forcing the front door. Nothing was reported missing.

Captains Cir., 400 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 29 to 5 a.m. Sept. 30. A bicycle was stolen by cutting a lock.

Chester Ave., 800 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 21 to 2 p.m. Sept. 23. Clothes and a mountain bike were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Edgewood Rd., 7000 block, 1 p.m. Sept. 29 to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 30. Two outboard motors were stolen from a boat.

Georgetown Ct., unit block, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 to 7:30 a.m. Sept. 27. A bicycle was stolen from a fenced-in back yard at a residence.

Granada Ave., 100 block, Sept. 26 to Sept. 27. Two unlocked vehicles were searched. Nothing was reported missing except for a man’s jacket, which was recovered in a nearby yard.

Murray Ave., unit block, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 to 10 a.m. Sept. 27. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Nimitz Dr., 1700 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 25 to Sept. 26. An unlocked vehicle was searched. Nothing was reported missing.

Ritchie Lane, 1500 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 27 to 5:30 a.m. Sept. 28. A laptop case, two tablet computers, headphones and a graphing calculator were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Severn Island Ct., 600 block, 1:20 p.m. Sept. 29. A TV was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked back door. The intruder dropped the TV and fled empty-handed when confronted by a returning occupant.

Summerfield Dr., unit block, 10 p.m. Oct. 2 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 3. A bicycle was stolen from the front yard of a residence. A lock was cut.

Sumner Rd., 300 block, noon to 7 p.m. Sept. 22. An unlocked bicycle was stolen from a back yard of a residence.

West St., 1900 block, 8:30 p.m. Oct. 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 2. A bicycle and a bike lock were stolen from in front of an apartment.

Windsor Ave., 900 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 2. A camera and a purse were among property stolen from an occupied residence entered through an unlocked window.

Woodlawn Ave., 100 block, 3:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 27. A laptop computer, a mixing board, digital hard drives, a camera, headphones and audio cables were stolen from a vehicle entered by forcing a door.

First St., 300 block, 9:30 a.m. Sept. 24. Five bottles of liquor were stolen from a business entered through an unlocked door.

ROBBERIES

Whistling Winds Walk, 5700 block, 8:54 p.m. Sept. 28. A male approached a pedestrian from behind and tried to take her backpack. During a struggle, she kicked the assailant, who then fled empty-handed into nearby woods.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Creekwood Ct., 6800 block, 3:15 a.m. Oct. 3. An attempt was made to enter an occupied residence by removing a window screen. The intruder fled empty-handed when confronted.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Hitching Post Lane, 9100 block, 5:52 a.m. Oct. 3. A 2006 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Quarterstaff Rd., 10600 block, 12:30 to 7 a.m. Sept. 30. A purse was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage. The purse was recovered nearby, but cash was missing.

Red Branch Rd., 9100 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 28. Two checks were stolen from a cash register at a salon entered by smashing glass in a front door.

Thunder Hill Rd., 5400 block, 12:01 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 28. Two computers and cash were stolen from a residence entered through a kitchen skylight.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Clocktower Lane, 9700 block, 12:01 to 7:29 a.m. Sept. 30. A gray Acura TL was stolen.

Columbia Rd., 5600 block, 10:50 Oct. 2 to 6:53 a.m. Oct. 3. A 2006 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

Phantom Ct., 5100 block, 7:42 a.m. Sept. 27. A silver 1998 Toyota RAV4 was stolen.

Old Waterloo Rd., 6700 block, 8:15 a.m. Oct. 2. A 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Doncaster Dr., 4500 block, 4:20 to 6:45 p.m. Oct. 2. Two TVs, a laptop computer and a tablet computer were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Font Hill Dr., 4100 block, 4:13 p.m. Oct. 2. An attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking a window. A male was seen fleeing the area empty-handed.

Fox Chase Ct., 11600 block, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 2. Jewelry was removed from a dresser in residence entered by breaking glass in a set of French doors.

Longview Dr., 9800 block, 11:30 a.m. Sept. 24 to 4:14 p.m. Sept. 28. An attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking glass in a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

Pebble Beach Dr., 2900 block, 8:30 a.m. Sept. 20 to 7:53 p.m. Sept. 27. A ring and a large number of coins were stolen from a residence entered through a basement window.

Roundhill Rd., 4700 block, 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 27. A residence was entered by breaking glass in a back door. A gun safe was pried open, but nothing was reported missing.

Royal Ascot Ct., 10300 block, 12:01 to 4:30 a.m. Sept. 29. Cash was stolen from a purse in a residence entered through an open garage.

Smith Ave., 8600 block, Sept. 15 to 29. A TV, a TV stand and a coffee table were stolen from a recently vacated residence entered by kicking in a basement door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Rogers Ave., 2900 block, Sept. 9 to 29. A Yamaha dirt bike was stolen from an unlocked shed.

Wheatfield Way, 8500 block, 9:37 a.m. Sept. 28. An attempt was made to steal a Jeep Cherokee by damaging the ignition.

Wheaton Way, 3100 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 2 to 7:46 a.m. Oct. 3. A 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen.

JESSUP AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Washington Blvd., 8100 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 26 to 6:16 a.m. Sept. 27. Two hundred dead batteries were stolen from a junk yard.

Washington Blvd., 8600 block, 3:56i a.m. Sept. 29. Cartons of cigarettes, cash and pipes were stolen from a tobacco store entered by breaking glass in a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Dorsey Run Rd., 8400 block, 3:37 p.m. Sept. 28. A red 2013 Chevrolet Camaro was stolen.

Dorsey Run R.d, 8400 block, 11:08 a.m. Oct. 3. Two vehicles were stolen from a railyard.

Bridle Path Lane, 9200 block, 6:40 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 27. A video game system was stolen from an apartment entered by forcing the front door.

Slippery Rock Way, 8200 block, 2:17 p.m. Oct. 3. Cash was stolen from an occupied residence entered by kicking in a door.

Washington Blvd., 9800 block, 11:38 p.m. Sept. 27. A jacket was stolen from a thrift store entered by breaking glass in a front door.

Washington Blvd., 10100 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 30 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 1. Cash and DVDs were stolen from a store entered by breaking glass in a front door.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Woodstock Rd., 1400 block, 2:37 a.m. Oct. 2. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through the unlocked front door.
