BROOKLYN PARK AREA

ROBBERIES

Mountain Rd., 2500 block, 7:26 p.m. Oct. 9. A male wearing a mask threatened a woman in a parking lot, then robbed her of a purse and fled in a small silver vehicle driven by an accomplice. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

HARWOOD AREA

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Solomons Island Rd., 4400 block, 10:54 a.m. Oct. 16. A student brought a knife and a pellet gun to school. The gun, which was not loaded, was confiscated. The student was charged with two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon on school property.

LAUREL AREA

ROBBERIES

Route 198 and Russet Green West, 11:13 p.m. Oct. 15. Three males robbed a pedestrian of a wallet and a cellphone at gunpoint, then fled on foot.

Yellow Springs and Wye Mills South, 9:14 p.m. Oct. 14. Two males robbed a pedestrian of a cellphone and his wallet at gunpoint.

MILLERSVILLE AREA

ROBBERIES

Coutros Ct., 7800 block, 7:17 p.m. Oct. 16. Two males, one of them armed with a stun gun, demanded keys from a man outside his residence. The man ran away. When he returned, he determined that property had been stolen from his home.

Veterans Hwy., 8000 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 17. Two men threatened a fast-food restaurant employee, then fled with cash.

PASADENA AREA

HOMICIDES

Outing Ave., 7000 block, 1:30 a.m. Oct. 13. During a party at a residence, two males shot at two men standing outside, then fled in a vehicle. Matthew Morrow, 21, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said that a Columbia man, 18, and a Glen Burnie man, 18, will be charged with first-degree murder.

SEVERN AREA

ROBBERIES

Disney Rd. and Ponderosa Dr., 3 p.m. Oct. 12. Two males approached a a pedestrian from behind and robbed him of a cellphone, then fled in a maroon four-door sedan driven by another male.

ASSAULTS

Calvert St., unit block, 12:01 a.m. Oct. 17. A male suffering from stab wounds that were not considered life-threatening was taken to a hospital for treatment. He said that he had been attacked from behind.

Tyler Ave., 1300 block, 10:45 p.m. Oct. 11. A man who had been stabbed in the neck was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening. An Annapolis man, 28, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

ROBBERIES

Duke Of Gloucester St., 100 block, 9:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Three men threatened a man in a parking lot behind a business, then fled with cash from his wallet.

Forest Dr., 1400 block, 12:15 p.m. Oct. 17. A man threatened a cashier and robbed a business of cash.

Madison St., 1000 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 13. Two male teenagers approached a man from behind and robbed him of a wallet.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bay Ridge Ave., 800 block, Oct. 9 to Oct. 12. A tablet computer and an electric keyboard were stolen from a building. There was no sign of forced entry.

Brooke Ct., 800 block, 3:30 a.m. Oct. 12. A man tried to break into an occupied residence through a kitchen window. An Annapolis man, 23, was charged with fourth-degree burglary and two counts of trespassing.

Cherry Grove Ave. S., 700 block, 5 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 12. An attempt was made to enter an apartment by forcing a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Compromise St., unit block, 11 p.m. Oct. 13 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 14. A radar detector, a cellphone charger, a digital media player and a wallet were among property stolen from five unlocked vehicles in a parking garage.

Cove Rd., 1100 block, 8:30 p.m. Oct. 15. Responding to a report of suspicious activity around a parked vehicle, police detained a 34-year-old Annapolis man at Spa Road and Hilltop Lane. He was charged with possession of marijuana. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.

Franklin St., unit block, 4:45 a.m. Oct.14. Responding to a report of suspicious activity around parked vehicles, police arrested an Annapolis man, 22, and a Davidsonville man, 22. Charges included theft, rogue and vagabond, and destruction of property.

Janwall St., unit block, Oct. 11 to Oct. 15. Cash was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

McGuckian St., 1900 block, Oct. 8 to Oct. 15. Two mountain bikes were stolen from a residence. They had been secured with a heavy chain.

Parole St., unit block, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

Wells Ave., 900 block, noon Oct. 9 to 9 a.m. Oct. 13. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

Water and Shaw streets, 11 p.m. Oct. 17. Three men were seen tampering with vehicles. Two Annapolis men, ages 22 and 24, and a 25-year-old Glen Burnie man were arrested. Charges included theft, rogue and vagabond and possession of burglar’s tools. A cellphone and other property stolen from vehicles was recovered.

Auto Dr., 12400 block, Oct. 5 to Oct. 9. A black 2007 Audi A8 was stolen from a dealership.

COLUMBIA AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dobbin Center, 6400 block, 4:45 p.m. Oct. 12 to 8:40 a.m. Oct. 13. An office suite under construction was entered by breaking a glass near a side door. Nothing was reported missing.

Garden Walk, 7000 block, 1 to 7:30 a.m. Oct. 14. A laptop computer, a purse and a wallet were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding-glass door.

Wooded Run Dr., 6100 block, 2 p.m. Oct. 12 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 15. A residence was entered by breaking a window. Property was moved around, but nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Berger Rd., 9500 block, 3 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 15. A gray Ford van was stolen.

Harpers Farm Rd., 5400 block, 7:25 p.m. Oct. 14. A motor scooter was stolen.

Tamebird Ct., 8800 block, 10:05 p.m. Oct. 17. A gold 2003 Mercedes-Benz was stolen.

ELKRIDGE AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Butterfield Dr., 7900 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 12. A key was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window. An investigation was continuing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Dorsey Run Rd., 7100 block, 2:46 p.m. Oct. 16. A 2004 Toyota Highlander was stolen.

ELLICOTT CITY AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Spring Meadow Dr., 4000 block, 6:30 to 10 p.m. Oct. 17. Video game consoles and games, a pellet gun, a coin collection and antique bowls were among property stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding-glass door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Old Montgomery Rd., 8900 block, 12:28 a.m. Oct. 15. A Kawasaki all-terrain vehicle was stolen. A Baltimore man, 20, and a Columbia man, 39, were charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. The ATV was recovered.

GLENWOOD AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Route 97, 3800 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 10 to 10:10 a.m. Oct. 13. Several guitars and an amplifier were stolen from a church entered by forcing a rear window.

HANOVER AREA

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Hanover Rd., 6000 block, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16. A Honda motor scooter was stolen from a shed entered by forcing a door.

Julie Ann Dr., 6400 block, 2 a.m. Oct. 14 to 2:40 p.m. Oct. 16. A 2007 Yamaha YZ250F dirt bike and a 2002 Honda XR100 dirt bike were stolen from a shed and from beneath a deck. The shed was entered by breaking a door lock.

JESSUP AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Preston Ct., 8200 block, 5:25 a.m. Oct. 12. An attempt was made to enter an office by breaking glass in a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Rosewood Way, 8900 block, 7:30 a.m . to 5:20 p.m. Oct. 17. Jewelry, two TVs, a DVD player, a camera and a chainsaw were stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Savage-Guilford Rd., 7900 block, Oct. 17. Copper pipes were stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a basement door.

LAUREL AREA

ROBBERIES

Canterbury Riding, 9300 block, 12:03 a.m. Oct. 13. While a female teenager was distracting a motorist sitting in a vehicle, a male teenager approached and robbed him of a wallet and keys at gunpoint.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Blues Alley, 9100 block, 8:25 a.m. Oct. 10. A blue 2004 Cadillac Deville was stolen.

Davis Ave., 9300 block, 1:20 p.m. Oct. 15. A 2008 Continental trailer was stolen.

WOODBINE AREA

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Florence Rd., 2600 block, 2:30 to 7:20 a.m. Oct. 13. A silver 2001 Toyota Corolla was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage door.
