BROOKLYN PARK AREA

ASSAULTS

Belle Grove Rd., 5600 block, 12:58 a.m. Nov. 1. An employee of a restaurant was attacked in the back of the business. He was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries. An investigation was continuing.

HIT AND RUN INCIDENTS

Ritchie Hwy. and Camrose Ave., 12:37 a.m. Nov. 1. A man walking on the highway was struck by a vehicle. He was taken to a hospital, where he was in critical condition.

GLEN BURNIE AREA

ASSAULTS

Furnace Branch Rd. E., 7400 block, 9:02 p.m. Three males attacked a man when he arrived for a meeting, then robbed him of cash and a cellphone. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of stab wounds.

Annapolis

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Academy St., 100 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 24 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 25. Cash was stolen from a purse in an unlocked vehicle.

Archwood Ave., 100 block, 5:45 to 9:45 p.m. Oct. 25. A bag of tobacco was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Bay Ridge Ave., 900 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 29. A man tried to enter a business by forcing a side window, then fled on foot when confronted. A Shadyside man, 49, was arrested on burglary charges a short time later.

Breakwater Dr., 900 block, 4:30 p.m. Oct. 27 to noon Oct. 28. An attempt was made to break into a residence through a window. A security bar prevented entry.

Bowman Dr., 1800 block, 9 to 11 p.m. Oct. 28. A bag of clothes was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Cedar Ridge Ct., 1000 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 25 to 10 a.m. Oct. 26. A mountain bike was stolen from a front porch.

College Ave., unit block, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24. Cash was stolen from an unlocked metal box in a dorm room.

Constitution Ave., unit block, 8 p.m. Oct. 24 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 25. A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Constitution Ave., unit block, 8 p.m. Oct. 24 to 8 a.m. Oct. 25. An unlocked vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

Constitution Sq., unit block, 5 p.m. Oct. 24 to 9 a.m. Oct. 25. An unlocked vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

Granada Ave., 100 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 24 to 7 a.m. Oct. 25. Coins were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Hilltop Lane, 300 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 23 to 5:30 a.m. Oct. 24. Carpenter’s tools were stolen from a van entered by forcing a door.

Hudson St., unit block, Oct. 26 to Oct. 28. Tools were stolen from a work vehicle entered by forcing a door.

Main St., unit block, 2 a.m. Oct. 27. A purse was stolen.

Margaret Ave., 1600 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 24 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 25. Cash was stolen from a wallet in an unlocked vehicle.

Melrob Ct., unit block, 6 p.m. Oct. 24 to 7 a.m. Oct. 25. A bag containing hand tools, two vacuum pumps, a volt meter and a drill was stolen from a van entered by breaking a lock.

Melrob Ct., unit block, Oct. 26 to Oct. 28. A bicycle was stolen from a second-floor balcony.

Monticello Ave., 100 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 24 to 7:45 a.m. Oct. 25. An unlocked vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

Poplar Ave., 1400 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24 to 7:45 a.m. Oct. 25. A beach cruiser bicycle was stolen from a front porch entered by cutting a window screen.

Poplar Ave., 1000 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 24 to 9 a.m. Oct. 25. A bicycle was stolen from an enclosed porch.

Ritchie Lane, 1400 block, 9:45 p.m. Oct. 24 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 25. Two CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Tyler Ave., 1300 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 28 to 2:15 a.m. Oct. 29. A stereo was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Melrose St., 700 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 30 to 7 a.m. Oct. 31. A beige 2007 GMC Envoy was stolen from a driveway at a residence.

Westbridge Dr., 1900 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 25 to 7 a.m. Oct. 26. A lime-green 2006 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was stolen from a garage.

ROBBERIES

Cedar Lane, 5800 block, 6:15 p.m. Oct. 28. Four males walking on a footpath implied that they had a gun and robbed a teenager of his backpack.

Old Dobbin Lane, 6100 block, 6:17 p.m. Oct. 31. Two males robbed a male of a cellphone at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Allen Lane, 6600 block, 4:30 to 5:21 a.m. Oct. 29. A laptop computer, a cellphone and a digital media player were among property stolen from an occupied residence. A digital media player was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway.

Blacksmith Dr., 5000 block, 10 a.m. Oct. 18 to 6:20 p.m. Oct. 27. A TV and a cellphone were stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a back door.

Connell Ct., 9200 block, 12:05 a.m. Oct. 27. A residence was entered by forcing a door. A 53-year-old D.C. man, an acquaintance of an occupant, was arrested on charges of burglary and malicious destruction of property.

Faulkner Ridge Cir., 10600 block, 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 26. A tablet computer and two jewelry boxes were stolen from a residence entered by removing a screen from a window.

Red Branch Rd., 9100 block, 9:05 p.m. Oct. 31. A cash register was stolen from a deli entered by breaking a window with a paving stone.

Twin Rivers Rd., 10500 block, 6:17 p.m. Oct. 30. A ground-floor apartment was entered through an unlocked sliding-glass door. Nothing was reported missing.

Welcome Home Dr., 6200 block, 5:30 to 8:05 p.m. Oct. 27. A laptop computer and a power cable were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding-glass door.

White Peach Pl., 6400 block, 3:30 to 7:40 a.m. Oct. 27. An attempt was made to break into a residence through an unlocked sliding-glass door. A security stick prevented entry. Nothing was reported missing.

Eden Brooks Dr., 7300 block, 1:38 a.m. Oct. 28. A gray Honda Accord LX was stolen.

Swift Stream Pl., 10300 block, 8:41 a.m. Oct. 31. A black Honda Accord was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dorsey Rd., 6800 block, 6:25 p.m. Oct. 25. Three motorcycles were stolen from a shed.

Howard Lane, 6300 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 29 to 8:21 a.m. Oct. 30. An attempt was made to enter a business by breaking a side window. Nothing was reported missing.

Howard Lane, 6300 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 30 to 7:30 a.m. Oct. 31. A cash box was stolen from an office entered by forcing a door. There was no sign of forced entry to the building.

Lark Brown Rd., 8100 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 30 to 6:35 a.m. Oct. 31. Three unlocked work trucks were entered at a plumbing-business yard. Nothing was reported missing.

Marshalee Dr., 6000 block, 11 a.m. Oct. 29 to 10:15 a.m. Oct. 30. Cash was stolen from a nail salon entered by damaging a deadbolt lock.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Morningbird Lane, 5800 block, 11:15 a.m. Oct. 22. A lime-green and black 2012 Yamaha all-terrain vehicle was stolen.

ELLICOTT CITY AREA

ASSAULTS

Dorsey Hall Dr., 4700 block, 1:51 p.m. Oct. 28. A male in a grocery-store parking lot approached a man from behind and knocked him to the ground. No serious injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

Old Annapolis Rd., 8700 block, 4:57 p.m. Oct. 24. A student at a high school threatened a student and robbed him of a cash. A male was charged with robbery, assault and theft.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Baltimore National Pike, 10000 block, 4:48 to 5:25 a.m. Oct. 30. A restaurant was entered by breaking a window with a crowbar. Attempts were made to break into two safes. Nothing was reported missing.

Chapel View Rd., 8600 block, 9 to 10 p.m. Oct. 26. Jewelry and a purse were stolen from an occupied residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and a ladder was found next to the house.

Dunloggin Rd., 9300 block, 12:50 to 4:10 p.m. Oct. 25. A residence was entered through an unlocked sliding-glass door. Property was moved around, but nothing was reported missing.

Fox Fire Ct., 2900 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 26 to 5:26 p.m. Oct. 28. A silverware set and jewelry were among property stolen from a residence entered by forcing the front door.

Harvey Lane, 5200 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 26 to 1 a.m. Oct. 27. Two laptop computers were stolen from a residence entered through a garage.

St. John’s Lane, 2800 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 29 to 3 p.m. Oct. 30. Two guitars, an antique shotgun and several tools were stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a basement door.

Talbots Landing, 5200 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 26 to 2:45 a.m. Oct. 27. A cellphone and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked side door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Courthouse Dr., 3400 block, 11:11 a.m. Oct. 28. A 2001 Honda motorcycle was stolen.

Reservoir Rd., 8300 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 26 to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 27. A pet macaw and its cage were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement window.

Assateague Dr., 7300 block, 12:45 p.m. Oct. 22. A silver 1978 Chevy Corvette was stolen.

Cross St., unit block, 12:10 to 12:35 p.m. Oct. 26. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in a door.

Jeanne Ct., 9500 block, noon Oct. 18 to 1 p.m. Oct. 28. A generator was stolen from a garage.

Route 1, 9000 block, 12:51 a.m. Oct. 29. Sixty cartons of cigarettes were stolen from a convenience store entered by forcing a front door.
