BALTIMORE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bishop Ave., 300 block, 3:13 p.m. Aug. 1. A person saw teenagers entering and leaving a neighbor’s home and called the neighbor, who informed police. Two boys and a girl were found inside with food that had been stolen during a burglary in the 200 block of Berlin Avenue between July 31 and Aug. 1. A Baltimore female, 13, and two Baltimore males, 15 and 17, were arrested. The males were also charged in connection with the Berlin Avenue break-in.

GLEN BURNIE AREA
ROBBERIES

Nolpark Ct., Aug. 3. A gunman and another male robbed a man in front of a store and fled with property. Police stopped the driver of a vehicle, then pursued a passenger who had gotten out and fled into a wooded area. A handgun was recovered. A Baltimore man, 19, was charged with armed robbery, assault, theft and possession of a handgun in commission of a felony. A Severn male, 16, was charged as an adult with armed robbery, assault, theft and possession of a handgun in commission of a felony. A Severn male, 15, was charged as a juvenile with armed robbery, assault, theft and possession of a handgun in commission of a felony.

Quarterfield Rd., 7600 block, 5:40 p.m. Aug. 3. Three male teenagers tried to rob another male teenager of his shoes while playing basketball at a middle school.

Wellham Ave., 500 block, July 29 to Aug. 5. A male robbed two people at gunpoint at an elementary school on separate occasions. He had set up meetings with prospective cellphone buyers on the Internet, posing as a seller. Detectives then set up a meeting for Aug. 5, and the male, with a pellet gun, attempted to rob an undercover detective. A Glen Burnie male, 17, was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Lansing Rd., 1700 block, 12:11 a.m. Aug. 6. Two men entered a home and fled when a resident awoke and saw them. A Glen Burnie man, 29, and an Odenton man, 21, were arrested.

LAUREL AREA
ROBBERIES

Chiswell Rd., 3400 block, 10:20 p.m. Aug. 7. A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint by five male teenagers. Cash and other property were taken.

ODENTON AREA
ROBBERIES

Commodore Ct. and Commissary Cir., 1:05 a.m. Aug. 2. Two masked gunmen robbed a man of a cellphone and wallet and fled on foot.

Imperial Sq. and Ransom Dr., Aug. 3. An armed robbery occurred. A Baltimore man, 19, was charged with armed robbery, assault, theft and possession of a handgun in commission of a felony. A Severn male, 16, was charged as an adult with armed robbery, assault, theft and possession of a handgun in commission of a felony. A Severn male, 15, was charged as a juvenile with armed robbery, assault, theft and possession of a handgun in commission of a felony.

Militia Pl., 100 block, 11:47 p.m. Aug. 2. Three men and a woman were robbed at gunpoint by five males, who took property and fled in a silver-white Dodge or Chrysler minivan.

PASADENA AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Hilltop Rd., 1000 block, July 25 to 26. A man placed a large order for roof shingles and billed a local roofing company without its consent, then advertised the materials for sale on the Internet. Detectives posed as buyers for $3,800 worth of shingles. An Orchard Beach man, 49, was arrested and charged with felony theft and identity fraud.

Meadow View Rd., 1200 block, 4 a.m. Aug. 4. An air conditioner was stolen from the back of a business. When police arrived, they saw men fleeing on Valley Road, leaving behind an air conditioner on the shoulder of the road. The air conditioner was returned. Two Baltimore men, 27 and 29, and an Odenton man, 51, were arrested.

SEVERN AREA
ROBBERIES

Triple Feather Rd., 1800 block, 12:40 a.m. Aug. 2. Two males wearing bandannas over their faces robbed four people at gunpoint, taking a ball cap and a cellphone. They fled on foot.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Quarterfield Rd., 7800 block, July 30. A man broke into a sandwich shop and took cash from a cash drawer.

SEVERNA PARK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., 700 block, 7:20 p.m. Aug. 7. A vehicle owner chased a man he had seen in his vehicle. The man dropped a cellphone. Neighbors joined the chase, and the man continued to drop items as he ran. In the unit block of Hatton Drive, he stole a bike that was parked behind a residence. Witnesses tackled him before he could ride away. An Annapolis man, 22, was arrested and charged with three counts of theft.

ROBBERIES

Belle Dr., 1700 block, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 5. A man grabbed a male pedestrian and pulled him behind houses, where he robbed the pedestrian of keys and a wallet at knifepoint. The pedestrian’s shorts pocket was cut.

West St., 1200 block, 7:40 a.m. Aug. 2. A man robbed a gas station. He fled on foot with 53 packs of cigarettes, cash from the business and an employee’s purse.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Boxwood Rd., 1-99 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 4 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 5. Cash and a GPS device were stolen from a vehicle entered by smashing the driver’s side window.

Dock St., 1-99 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 3 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 5. A safe was stolen from a business entered by cutting a lock on a garage door.

Duke of Gloucester St., 100 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 5 to 7:40 a.m. Aug. 6. Candy was stolen from a vehicle entered by smashing a window.

Granville Ave., 100 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 1 to 8:50 a.m. Aug. 2. Cash, a key and a registration card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Newtowne Dr., 700 block, 5 to 6 p.m. Aug. 4. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Old Solomons Island Rd., 1-99 block, 6 p.m. July 29 to 7:30 a.m. July 31. A business was entered by prying open a door, and a safe was damaged but not opened. A suite door of another business in the building was damaged, but the suite was not entered.

Severn Ave., 300 block, 1:30 to 1:35 p.m. Aug. 4. An unlocked, silver mountain bike behind a business was stolen. The next day, it was found abandoned on the side of a road in the 800 block of Chester Avenue.

Van Buren St., 900 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 5 to 6:45 a.m. Aug. 6. A bag containing a laptop computer, a digital camera, a laser measuring device and two moisture meters was stolen from a vehicle entered by smashing a window.

West St., 1-99 block, 4:45 a.m. Aug. 6. A business was entered by smashing a rear glass door. Nothing was reported stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Oaklawn Ave., 400 block, 3:30 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 4. A brown 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen after it had been left unlocked with a key under a floor mat.

Rosedale St., 700 block, 1:40 a.m. Aug. 1. A motor scooter in front of a home was stolen. A police officer found it abandoned — with the motor running — on a sidewalk in the 900 block of Spa Road.

Spa Rd., 1-99 block, 7 p.m. July 31 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 1. A white 2006 Jeep Commander was stolen.

ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Junction Dr., 9000 block, 11:08 p.m. Aug. 2. A company hired a private investigator to conduct surveillance at the business and found that a man had been stealing scrap materials. A Laurel man, 44, was arrested and charged with two counts of fourth-degree burglary, second-degree burglary and theft.

CLARKSVILLE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Running Fence Lane, 12200 block, 1700 block, Aug. 2. Property was reported stolen from a residence.

COLUMBIA AREA
ROBBERIES

Cedar Lane, 5600 block, 11 a.m. Aug. 3. A boy was grabbed by an acquaintance behind an elementary school and robbed of cash.

Green Mountain Cir., 10800 block, 12:18 a.m. Aug. 6. A male approached a car outside his apartment after an acquaintance had called saying he was waiting outside to take the resident to a party. When the resident reached the car, the acquaintance was not there, and two male strangers told him to get into the vehicle so they could take him to the party. Once inside the car, the males implied they had a gun and robbed the resident of cash and a cellphone.

Twin Rivers Rd. and Green Mountain Cir., July 29. Four males demanded a bike from a bicyclist riding through a tunnel. The bicyclist refused, and the group attacked him and grabbed the bike from him.

Yellowrose Ct., 5700 block, 11:15 a.m. Aug. 2. Five people wearing masks got out of a black SUV in a parking lot and assaulted a boy. They took his cellphone and cash. The boy walked to his home and got a towel for his injury, then walked to a friend’s house. The boy was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Columbia Rd., 5300 block, 10:30 a.m. to 11:17 p.m. Aug. 4. A video game console was stolen from an apartment entered by pulling a screen off an unlocked window.

Dawn Marie Ct., 5100 block, July 11 to Aug. 7. A video game console was stolen from a home entered by breaking a rear sliding door with a rock.

Harpers Choice Rd., 5700 block, 2 to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 5. A TV was stolen from an apartment entered by breaking glass in a back door.

Hayshed Lane, 8500 block, 3:56 p.m. Aug. 3. A bike was stolen from a garage.

Jamina Downs, 6000 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 6 to 8:45 a.m. Aug. 7. Two mountain bikes were stolen from an open garage. A vehicle was searched.

Shaker Dr., 10400 block, 12:27 p.m. Aug. 1. Files, cash and a family picture were stolen from an office entered without force.

Little Patuxent Pkwy., 12100 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 5 to 7:19 p.m. Aug. 8. A white 2007 Toyota Avalon was stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Washington Blvd., 7300 block, 1:56 p.m. Aug. 2. A white 1998 Chevrolet 3500 was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

White Rose Way, 3900 block, 4:37 a.m. Aug. 3. A residential alarm was activated. A front door was damaged, but the home was not entered.

FULTON AREA
ARSON

Browns Bridge Rd., 7600 block, 2:49 to 3 p.m. Aug. 6. Attempts were made to set an abandoned commercial building on fire, and a van at the site was set on fire. The building was entered by breaking a window, graffiti was painted on walls, and paint was spilled on floors. Three juveniles were charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary, second-degree arson, trespassing, malicious burning, malicious destruction of property and attempted burning.

LAUREL AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Autumn Grain Gate, 8500 block, 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7. Jewelry, a tablet computer and a gym bag were stolen from a home entered by prying open a rear basement door.

Bridle Path Lane, 5400 block, 12:15 to 1 p.m. Aug. 6. A laptop computer and a tablet computer were stolen from a home entered by breaking a sliding glass door.

Covered Wagon, 9700 block, 1:50 to 2:04 p.m. Aug. 4. A computer was stolen from a home. Two windows were found unlocked when a resident returned home after being away for 14 minutes. The front door was still locked.

Deep Skies Dr., 10100 block, 5:30 a.m. to 2:43 p.m. Aug. 7. A home was entered by forcing a rear basement window, setting off an alarm.

Ruth Ave., 1-99 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 4 to 3:48 p.m. Aug. 5. A residence was entered by removing a front door. Holes were punched in walls, a counter and sink were pushed over and separated on the floor, a bathroom sink was ripped from a wall, and a toilet was knocked over.

Washington Blvd., 10100 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 4 to 1:30 a.m. Aug. 5. A wallet was stolen from a motel room.

Howland Rd., 9200 block, 1:34 p.m. Aug. 4. A 2008 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.
