ANNAPOLIS AREA
WEAPONS

Washington St., 300 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 8. Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence and seized about 26 grams of marijuana, a grinder, cellophane wrappers, a semi-automatic handgun, five pills and $790 in cash. An Annapolis man, 24, was arrested and charged with four counts of drug possession, manufacturing drugs and possession of a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime.

GLEN BURNIE AREA
ROBBERY

Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., 7700 block, 5:46 a.m. Aug. 13. A gunman demanded cash from a customer at a gas station. The gunman took cash and fled on foot toward Normandy Drive. A suspect was located in a residential back yard on Normandy Drive and was positively identified. A weapon was recovered. A Halethorpe man, 23, was charged with robbery and assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Norman Rd., 400 block, 2:19 a.m. Aug. 11. Two males were seen entering vehicles. Two suspicious males agreed to a search and were found to be in possession of a prescription bottle, a digital scale, two cellphones and a pair of women’s earrings. The owner of the pill bottle said the bottle was stolen from her car. A Severn man, 20, and a Glen Burnie man, 18, were arrested.

Ritchie Hwy., 7900 block, 3:30 p.m. Aug. 8. Two women used a tool to enter a vehicle in a mall parking lot and took a wallet. A witness told the owner and notified him that the women had arrived in a black Volkswagen. An Arnold woman, 23, and a Huntingtown woman, 34, were arrested. They were found to be in possession of the stolen wallet and other people’s credit cards.

LAUREL AREA
ASSAULTS

Laurel Fort Meade Rd. and Russett Green West, 2 a.m. Aug. 10. An intoxicated man began yelling at a male pedestrian and stabbed him three times in the abdomen. The pedestrian fought off the attacker, who fled on foot down Russett Green West. The man who was stabbed was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

ROBBERIES

Easton South, 100 block, 10:22 p.m. Aug. 10. A delivery driver made a delivery at an apartment building and was hit on the head while walking out. A group of males robbed him of personal property and fled. The driver was treated at the scene.

Federalsburg South, 200 block, 9:21 p.m. Aug. 8. Two male teenagers robbed three pedestrians at gunpoint. They fled with property toward an apartment complex.

Route 198 and Red Clay Rd., 1:50 a.m. Aug. 13. Two males demanded property from a male and assaulted him when he refused to comply. They took personal property and fled toward Maryland City Plaza. The pedestrian was injured but refused medical attention.

ODENTON AREA
ASSAULTS

Odenton Rd. and Bruce Ave., 3:19 a.m. Aug. 10. Two males stabbed a man during a fight and fled. The man who was stabbed was taken to a medical center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

Rita and Baliol drives, 12:17 a.m. Aug. 11. Three people were seen tampering with three cars. Two males, 15, were arrested on juvenile citations of rogue and vagabond and theft. A third suspect fled on foot.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

Maple Ridge Lane, 400 block, 1:30 a.m. Aug. 10. A 2006 Jeep Liberty was stolen. At 2 a.m., while responding to a report of vehicle tampering on Hoods Mill Court, police officers saw a Jeep Liberty leaving the area. Shortly thereafter, the Jeep crashed into a home in the 600 block of Cadbury Drive, significantly damaging the home and requiring the residents of the home and an adjoining home to evacuate. The male driving the Jeep fled.

SEVERN AREA
SHOTS FIRED

Spaulding Cir., 8100 block, 11:45 p.m. Aug. 9. Several shots were fired, striking a truck and a home. A red Pontiac G6 was seen speeding away. Nobody was injured.

ROBBERY

Pioneer Dr. and Arwell Ct., 9 p.m. Aug. 12. A man grabbed a female acquaintance’s purse while she was walking down the street and fled with two cellphones and cash. A Severn man, 18, was arrested and charged with robbery and theft.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Abney St., 1-99 block, 8 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. Aug. 8. A vehicle’s title was stolen from a glove compartment entered by breaking a passenger side window.

Fairhope Ct., 1-99 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6 to 7 a.m. Aug. 7. A backpack was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Hearthstone Ct., 1-99 block, 1:30 to 2 p.m. Aug. 9. A white 2007 Suzuki GSXR 600 was stolen from a parking lot.

Hilltop Lane, 200 block, 4 to 5:45 p.m. Aug. 8. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Newman St., 1-99 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 7 to 2 a.m. Aug. 8. Cash was stolen from a vehicle entered by forcing a driver’s side window down.

Smith Ave., 200 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 12 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 13. Two drills and a headlamp were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Windwhisper Lane, 900 block, 7 to 7:10 a.m. Aug. 7. A backpack containing a laptop, a wallet, headphones, a camera, cash, sunglasses and a mobile hot-spot device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

COLUMBIA AREA
INDECENT EXPOSURE

Monarch Mills Way, 7600 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 2 to 11 p.m. Aug. 4. A male was seen exposing himself and talking on a cellphone while sitting on a stairway balcony overlooking a community pool. He fled when a security officer confronted him.

Thomas Edison Dr., 7100 block, 2:46 p.m. Aug. 11. A naked male was seen bathing under a garden hose. He may have fled in a silver SUV.

ROBBERY

Cradlerock Way, 7000 block, 10:25 p.m. Aug. 12. Three males robbed a male pedestrian. One took a cellphone from the pedestrian’s hand and held him while the other two reached into his pants pocket and took a wallet. They fled on foot toward a village center.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chestnut Park Lane, 10200 block, 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 8. Fishing rods and reels were stolen from an open garage.

Pembroke Green Pl., 10200 block, 4:25 p.m. Aug. 12. A male teenager tried to remove a residential window screen. He fled on foot when a resident yelled.

Scotch Pine Ct., 9000 block, 1:10 p.m. Aug. 5. A video-game console was stolen from a home while residents were on vacation from Aug. 4 to 10. There was no sign of forced entry, but the alarm company had a record of the alarm being activated Aug. 5 at 1:10 p.m. A friend and a house sitter checked the house and found nothing suspicious. Residents noticed the missing game system the day after they returned.

Sewells Orchard Dr., 6700 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 11 to 7 a.m. Aug. 12. Two bikes were stolen from an open garage.

Tolling Clock Way, 10500 block, 8:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13. Jewelry and a laptop were stolen from a home entered through an improperly secured front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

April Journey Rd., 5700 block, 9:08 a.m. Aug. 12. An attempted motor vehicle theft was reported.

Wincopin Cir., 10200 block, 8:50 to 10:50 p.m. Aug. 10. A black 1999 Honda Accord was stolen.

ELKRIDGE AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Furnace Ave., 5600 block, 1:08 a.m. Aug. 15. Copper wiring was stolen from a business.

ELLICOTT CITY AREA
ROBBERY

Baltimore National Pike, 8500 block, 6:35 p.m. Aug. 8. A male ran up to a gas station attendant’s locked booth window and pointed a gun at the clerk. The clerk started calling the police and retreated to a room behind the booth. The gunman backed out of the gas station. Nothing was taken.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dorsch Farm Rd., 11000 block, noon Aug. 3 to 11:54 a.m. Aug. 10. A homeowner discovered a screen had been removed from a window and the window was cracked. A basement door handle also was loose.

Folly Quarter Rd., 13200 block, July 16 to Aug. 13. A ladder, cabinets, copper wire, an air compressor and a TV were stolen from the garage of a vacant house. A door was kicked in.

Montgomery Rd., 4800 block, noon July 30 to 4 p.m. Aug. 10. Copper piping was removed from a vacant house entered by breaking glass in a rear basement door.

Montgomery Rd., 7200 block, 2:10 a.m. Aug. 12. Cash was stolen from an unlocked safe in a liquor store.

Montgomery Rd., 7200 block, 2:47 a.m. Aug. 13. Four cellphones and two tablet computers were stolen from a phone store entered by breaking a glass front door with a rock.

GLENELG AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bold Venture Dr., 13700 block, 10:30 a.m. Aug. 5 to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9. Two screens were removed from the front and back of a residence.

Church Rd., 3500 block, 1 p.m. Aug. 8 to 5:45 p.m. Aug. 10. Jewelry was stolen from a home. A neighbor discovered the break-in.

JESSUP AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Jacqueline Ct., 8400 block, 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13 to 7 a.m. Aug. 14. A stove and refrigerator were stolen from a house under construction. Entry was gained by breaking a rear window.

Washington Blvd., 8100 block, 2 p.m. July 24 to 9 a.m. Aug. 8. Tires and wheels were stolen from a home that was being used to store car parts. There was no sign of forced entry.

Washington Blvd., 8800 block, 3:16 a.m. Aug. 10. Two cases of beer were taken out of a liquor store cooler, and two bottles of vodka were stolen. Glass in a front door was broken. A man was suspected.

LAUREL AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Decatur Rd., 9300 block, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 8. Cash and an electronic gaming system were stolen from a home entered by breaking glass in a rear basement door.

SAVAGE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Foundry St., 8600 block, 3:12 a.m. Aug. 8. Gold and platinum rings were stolen from an antique store in Savage Mill. The building was entered by jumping over a locked gate on the second floor.

Foundry St., 8600 block, Aug. 8 to Aug. 11. A window was broken at Savage Mill.

WOODSTOCK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chester Way, 10500 block, 7:05 p.m. Aug. 10. Three rings were stolen from a jewelry box at a home. A resident thought a spare key from a relative’s home was used to gain entry.
