BROOKLYN PARK AREA
ROBBERIES

Ritchie Hwy., 5700 block, 8:06 p.m. July 31. A group assaulted a woman, 19, and took her cellphone. Five people from Baltimore, ages 19-38, were charged with robbery, assault and theft.

GLEN BURNIE AREA
ASSAULTS

Ritchie Hwy., 6700 block, 7:23 p.m.July 24. While being arrested in a parking lot after being accused of using illegal drugs, a woman spat at three officers. A Bethesda woman, 43, was charged with three counts of assault, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and resisting arrest.

Shelly Rd., 6600 block, 1:17 p.m. July 24. During an eviction process, a woman spat on a female employee. Then, driving a vehicle, she struck the employee. As she fled in the vehicle, she struck a police officer’s gun belt with a side mirror. A woman, 25, was charged with attempted manslaughter, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and traffic violations.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Kent Rd., 12;24 a.m. July 30. Two male youths were seen pulling a vehicle’s door handles. Property stolen from the vehicle was found in their possession. A Glen Burnie male, 16, and a Brooklyn male, 15, were charged with theft and tampering with a vehicle.

Woods Ave., 12:23 a.m. July 29. Four youths were seen pulling on vehicles’ door handles and entering the vehicles. Property was reported stolen. Two Halethorpe girls, 15 and 17, a Baltimore girl, 16, and a Glen Burnie youth, 17, were charged with theft and tampering with vehicles.

ASSAULTS

Housley Rd., 2600 block, 9:31 a.m. July 29. Two managers at a grocery store were pepper-sprayed by two people who had stolen several DVDs. Two Crofton women, 28 and 29, were charged with theft. The 28-year- old was also charged with assault, resisting arrest, fleeing and eluding police and providing a false statement to police.

ROBBERIES

Tyler Ave., 1100 block, 3:15 a.m. July 27. Four adults sitting on a back porch at a home were robbed of cellphones and a rosary item at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Annapolis St., 200 block, 3:19 a.m. July 25. Property was stolen from vehicles. A man was seen near the vehicles, and a prescription bottle with his name on it was found on the hood of one. A Lothian man, 31, was charged with theft and rogue and vagabond.

Chesapeake Ave., 300 block, 12:05 a.m. July 27. A leaf blower was stolen from an unlocked shed.

Cornhill St., 3 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 26. A rear door at a business was forced open. Nothing was reported stolen.

Duke of Gloucester St., 200 block, 5:30 to 7 p.m. July 24. Two laptop computers were stolen from a business.

Gemini Dr., 1200 block, 9:40 p.m. July 27 to 6 a.m. July 28. A purse was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

Hilltop Dr., 1200 block, 2:20 a.m. July 30. An intoxicated man was found passed out at the front door of a home, after he had attempted to open the door. An Annapolis man, 27, was charged with attempted burglary, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

Landings Ct., 9 p.m. July 27 to 11 a.m. July 28. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Lee St., 5:30 p.m. July 26 to 11 a.m. July 27. A front door at a business was forced open, and two TVs were stolen.

Norman Dr., 1000 block, 12:10 a.m. to noon July 26. A bicycle was stolen from an apartment building.

Pearson Point, 700 block, noon to 4 p.m. July 23. Bicycles and two bicycle helmets were stolen from an open garage.

Pearson Point, 700 block, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. July 27. A bicycle was stolen from an open garage.

Prince George St., 200 block, 6:30 to 11:05 p.m. July 24. An iPhone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Ritchie Lane, 1500 block, 4:51 a.m. July 25. Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Ritchie Lane, 7 p.m. July 24 to 10:45 a.m. July 25. Two change purses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Silverwood Cir., 8 p.m. July 27 to 4 a.m. July 28. An iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Virginia St., 1400 block, 4 p.m. July 24 to 8 a.m. July 25. A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

West St., 1900 block, 2 to 10 a.m. July 25. A bicycle was stolen from an apartment.

Woodward, Muir Woods, Landings and Copley courts, 11 p.m. July 27 to 6 a.m. July 28. Property was stolen from four vehicles.

COLUMBIA AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Hickory Ridge Rd., 10400 block, midnight July 25 to 7 a.m. July 26 and 7 a.m. July 26 to 10:13 a.m. July 27. Someone broke into a laundry room at an apartment complex and damaged machines and stole coins.

Quiet Hours, 6500 block, 3:03 p.m. July 24. Two male youths broke into an apartment. Two Columbia youths, 11 and 15, were charged with burglary.

Sheerock Ct., 5600 block, 10 a.m. July 26 to 9:57 p.m. July 27. Jewelry, sunglasses and electronics were stolen from a home.

Turnabout Lane, 5900 block, 10 p.m. July 26 to 7:05 a.m. July 27. TVs were stolen from a home entered by cutting a window screen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

High Tor Hill, 5300 block, 5:56 a.m. July 26. A white BMW was stolen.

VANDALISM

Cradlerock Way, 6800 block, 9 p.m. July 26 to 11 a.m. July 27. Plastic chairs, pool equipment and a volleyball net were thrown into a pool.

Railroad Ave., 5600 block, 12:20 a.m. July 27. A Ford F-150 was stolen.

Long Corner Rd., 600 block, 3 p.m. July 28. A woman gardening at her home was distracted by a male while another male stole cash and jewelry from her residence.
