Bible taken in Arlington robbery

A bible was stolen at gunpoint Sunday night in a street robbery in Arlington, the police said.

Arlington police said the victim was approached on a sidewalk about 11:20 p.m. in the 6000 block of Wilson Boulevard, just west of Bluemont Park.

They fled into a wooded area, and escaped despite a search which included a dog and a helicopter, police said.
