A D.C. man who groped women from his mountain bike in the Dupont Circle area this summer has been sentenced to serve jail time.
D.C. Superior Court Judge Stephen G. Milliken last week sentenced Oscar Mauricio Cornejo-Pena on Nov. 14 to 180 days incarceration, but suspended half of that time, according to officials in the U.S Attorney’s office. Cornejo-Pena, 31, was also ordered to undergo mental-health and sex-offender treatment, along with three years of probation.
Cornejo-Pena pleaded guilty this month to four counts of misdeameanor sexual abuse for four assaults in August. Two attacks occurred in the 1200 block of Connecticut Avenue. The others were in the 1900 block of Q Street and at 16th Street and New Hampshire Avenue.
