Lecture by author Ann McClellan: McClellan will provide insight into the Japanese gift of cherry trees as a symbol of the friendship between Japan and United States, and she will highlight the Library of Congress’s diverse related resources. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Library of Congress, Thomas Jefferson Building, Whittall Pavilion, 10 First St. SE.
